"Sir! Many times, the Great Men of the Earth had said while pardoning a man who had done a certain deliberate harm in the situation,
  • 'He does not know what he is doing!'
When a man openly and knowingly does certain bad, where's the need to say thus and instead why not speak out as is the particular bad or wrong done by the person? Can you please clarify on this?"

"Dear! I will not be able to explain the Spirit behind the talk of those Great Personalities in respect of the wrong doers but I can explain with a day to day example of our own talk which makes it more clear to you in this regard..

We generally live thru' our life invariably with certain threats around us.. These include the wilderness of Nature around, prevailing lawlessness, certain constant shortages etc etc..

Now the funny thing here is when we are in high spirits and feel good about life, we just say,

  • 'Life is Fantastic!'
coolly forgetting the threats around which can strike at any time with no written guarantee there.. Tell me now when we speak thus, are we not forgetting for the moment the feasible dangers around us?"

"Yes, I understand that we forget for a while this exact and speak out of our own good feeling with us!"

"Similarly in the situation you talked of, we are seeing only the wrong done by the individual and not more than that as our perception of life beyond is ever limited.. But Great Men of the World are never limited there and they forever see at an infinite level of depth of Understanding the Oneness of Universe where in all individuals are Truly One..

Thus seen, the Great Men can never say that people are different and their doings are different.. They just carry the Perception of the Whole of Existence and not by Part as we see around thru' our limited perception.. Because of that alone, the Great Men's talk looks different from the way we react and express ourselves.. Thus seen a Saint had gone to the extent of saying..
  • 'The hand that hit me is serving me now!'
When he was hit by a rowdy element and later taken care by his disciple.. And to say again, these Great men do not carry an hurt feelings like normal mortals we carry with us!

"Sir! Then what is the right course of action here for us?"

If you understand this, it's very much evident that
  • The Great men would forever be doing in their own way without an exception and
  • We as limited mortals should be doing as per our own perception of the right and wrong in our life with an associated concept of the related punishment and reformation in the context, of course not carrying any hate feeling in the process anywhere to the best of our abilities!"

  1. Every time you teach me a new lesson ..
whatever you say is already there but needs to be taken out from the corners of our soul and that work you do.
