THE MASTER AND THE DISCIPLE!

A learned man narrated a story thus..

'A Great Man of certain insight made a Proclamation of Truth.. Many reacted to it some positively and some negatively.. The positive reaction was..

"He says something!"

The negative reaction was..

"How's that practical?"

The positively reacted people continued listening to the Great Man with all attention with a feeling..

"This is what we want in life!"

The negatively reacted people firmed up..

"All this will take us nowhere!"

and kept off..

A few positive side people in no time took a great interest in line with the Great Man's Preaching.. And a few negative side people became strong critics opposing the Great Man.. The Rest remained as the listeners..

Soon the more interested people started a campaign supporting the Great Man.. And the critics started equally one but against Him only.. In time, the 2 campaigns picked up their own momentum..

Next 2 groups were formed to strengthen the like minded thinkings with the powerful staying at the top..

In time as the Original Man continued His Sayings, the groups followed all that in various styles and shapes both favoring and opposing with the listeners confused of both the directions..

In such a scenario, there were few and very few who put a question to themselves..

"He said something worth pondering over.. Why am I not understanding in this line? Let me rise here and further know what all this is!"

Thus they started searching for further Truth to the best of their abilities not knowing that as long as the mundane interest is mixed up with the Truth Search for the Ultimate, their search just remains mundane alone with a truth colored clothing put on to it..

Finally one true disciple alone had understood..

"Here lies what I'm searching for in my life.. I'm totally cleared of a certain doubt now and freed to this level.. Let me live my life thus and investigate further!"

And further to that, the Original Great Personality and the True Disciple sailed together in the same boat of True Investigation at their own Understanding Levels!'

Confirming what the learned man said, from distant loud speakers Verse 3 Chapter 7 of Srimad Bhagavad Gita was heard being recited melodiously with the meaning explained in parallel what Lord Krishna had said..

'Manusyanam sahasresu kascid yatati siddhaye
yatatam api siddhanam kascin mam vetti tattvatah'

'Out of thousands of men hardly one endeavors for the perfection of self realization and of such of those endevouring hardly one alone knows me in truth!'
