AT TIMES, REALITY BECOMES FICTION AND FICTION BECOMES REALITY! #BLOGCHATTER HALF MARATHON 2025

The initial thoughts of mine were..

"This person is a headache. Pokes into every matter.. Doesn't have any decency. Mannerless one!"

Soon followed the thoughts..

"Let me see.. Sometimes when situations change, the earlier bad may appear not so bad and the earlier decency may be seen having hypocrisy. Let me just ignore this person for the time being. May not be that bad!"

Subsequently as those thoughts continued..

"May be I'm also not keeping off from the not required interactions with the person and that is producing this conflict. Let me maintain min decency in future interactions with him. Clapping is not possible unless both hands join!"

That noble thinking when not rested..

“Let me look at myself.. I may call him bad easily but am I great if I don't attempt doing something in this direction?"

Further up the refined thoughts..

"Good and bad are just the 2 sides of the coin. It's ever my duty to constantly turn the good in others in all my interactions and thus move myself in my life. Seen that way.. Let me constantly correct myself and myself alone everywhere!"

The calling bell rang.. As I opened the door, the same person at the door wished me and said..

• "Sir! I had been to the Office and there I saw your Photo ID of.... I requested the person at the counter to give to me and I hand over that to you as I know you but he refused. I convinced him saying that of late there is a problem with you and you are not able to go everywhere, convinced him and received the ID..

Please keep it safe!"

WHOLESOME EMPLOYMENT.. WHAT'S IT LIKE? #BLOGCHATTER HALF MARATHON 2025

 

In early 20s  

When

Time appears plenty,

Involvement lacks everywhere,

Money remains limited and 

Energies go out constantly

On the day of joining,

Employment is seen as place of doing wonders..

In mid 20s

When

Time gets rationed,

Involvement surfaces,

Money remains reasonable 

 and 

Energies touch skies, 

It is felt like an imposed responsibility..

Around mid 30s 

When

Time becomes limited,

Involvement deepens,

Money becomes wholesome 

 And 

Energies go everywhere,

It becomes the necessary responsibility 

And 

Quickly narrows down to day to day responsibility..

In mid 40s
When
Time becomes further limited,
Involvement deepens beyond,
Money becomes wholesome
And
Energies go on and on everywhere ,

It settles down to an endless responsibility..

In mid 40s to end 50s with one or two promotions

When

Time zeroes down,

Involvement starts talking,

Money becomes sizable 

 And 

Energies remain at brim,

It changes to a ruling responsibility,

In no time is experienced as a sweet responsibility,

Further rises to a loved responsibility 

And beyond

Settles down to a sacred responsibility..

On the eve of retirement around 60s 

When

Time becomes immaterial,

Involvement dictates,

Money accumulates 

 And 

Energies are put to test,

It is felt as worshipped responsibility well discharged..

Soon as the tempo of new life picks up,

From mid 60s to mid 70s 

When

Time creates sometimes an issue,

Involvement softens,

Money remains static

 And 

Energies start tapering down,

It is seen as part of life well lived with handsome monies on hand!

Finally beyond mid 70s 

When

Time at disposal remains immaterial,

Involvement becomes least,

Money creates sometimes an issue

And 

Energies touch almost zero,

IT LIVES IN SWEET MEMORIES ON AND OFF!

CONTEMPORARY KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS.. #BLOGCHATTER HALF MARATHON 2025

The child had to go for few extra curricular activities at the young age. Naturally those extra activities in school curriculum as well as outside the curriculum were invariably on Sundays and holidays and that way the child was continuously made to involve into all those activities..

The grand father felt for the child struggling to learn/do so many new beyond normal studies. For a while he was restless but as the elderly gentleman sat in his easy chair and thought over, slowly a certain message was seen opening up in front of him..

• 'Contemporary knowledge/skills are the most important entities in one’s work life..

• Any additional knowledge/skill with one away from own specialization is contemporary knowledge/skill assuming that he/she is update in his/her specialization..

• Partly, contemporary knowledge/skills are taught up to the class where the schooling ends in one’s life. Rest of that knowledge/skills are acquired through one’s interaction in society and extra interests and that varies from person to person..

• One always does one's work through one's specialization the best but that doing alone is not all and one has to sell his/her work else money will not come..

• That selling is a trick and one's basic skill or specialization alone can't do that unless there is less supply and more demand in the market. But most of the times it is the other way in the world. So one has to create demand and compete in respect of the supply..

• The quality of work which is out of one's skill alone may limit competition from others to certain extent when pricing and timely deliveries are taken care. But surely creation of demand depends upon one's skills of social interactions and knowledge in that direction. There alone, the contemporary knowledge/skills play a definite role..

• The Employer may primarily take up the task of creating demand but he/she definitely expects his/her Employee to assist in that. The Employee does not have much choice there..

So, next time when children are seen involving in anything beyond studies, pause and think..

• That requirement is part and parcel of the coming up life as well

• Of course, with the core specialization as the base!'

'JEALOUSY, ROOTED YOU OUT!' 'HA! HA! HA!' #BLOGCHATTER HALF MARATHON 2025

"This treacherous enemy jealousy,

'Jeopardizes your interests,

Endangers your safety,

Attacks you with no less intensity, 

Lures you at every opportunity, 

Overpowers you in the nick of the moment, 

Unleashes it's evil intentions and makes you 

Sob profusely shedding crocodile tears 

Yielding temporarily thru' a smile!'

That was my life song all these years and I sang it deep in my heart, bi-hearted it to the core, went to the roots of structure of jealousy, grasped it and eliminated it once for all!"

The phone went thru' liberally..

• "Hello.. Yeah.. It's me.. Oh.. How are you dear? What? Is it? So nice to hear the good news. Great.. Oh.. You are giving party. Yes.. You should.. I'd be No 1 guest there. Ok.. Bye then.. All the best!"

Subsequently, as the thoughts of 

The huge extra benefit the friend got all other conditions remaining same 

Ran deep in the mind, the person was seen

Murmuring, 

Muttering, 

Cursing and 

Raging 

With an unknown anger as the enemy presumed to be eliminated long back was seen singing it's own song with a mischievous smile..

"May be, your life had passed 

All these years coolly with 

No major comparable events 

But today 

Caught you in the nick of time 

When such an event surfaced!"

THE 'NO ESCAPE' LOOP! #BLOGCHATTER HALF MARATHON 2025

The super rich business man of early 50s was given firm advice on health grounds and he decided to live through that discipline whatever the hurdles be.. 

“From today beyond my usual work, 

• Let me go for brisk walk for an hour daily,
• Let me climb min 3 floors as part of that walking,
• Let my diet be max bland and limited,
• Let me go to bed between 10&11 and have min 6 hrs sleep and beyond all
• Let me keep myself calm and cool as much with max cheerfulness in my life!”

He firmed up in his mind. The mobile phone rang instantly.. It was his Business Partner..

“Hello dear! How are you? Is everything fine? Yaar!  One important task with us presently.. Sometime back, there was a call from our Customer's Office.. 

It seems, a delegation of.... are planning to visit our premises tomorrow and they will be here for the whole of next week.  If we can truly please them, we will have life time fortune and the monies flow in for us. In this connection, our presence all these 7 days is very much required. The only difficulty for you may be that you have to bear all this till late night for a week..

But it is only in the evenings. Our regular work as planned will not get affected. These 7 days, I arranged dinner at Hotel.... you know, known for the finest international and continental cuisine..

On the last day, it's a big send off and the 'Best' would be at the disposal of all. Let us, do this in a grand way.  I agree, it's one week's tension for everyone but as monies flow in, it would be a fortune for us.  Be ready at 6 PM.. The vehicle will pick you up at your place. Bye, See you then!”

"I know what Spirituality is!"

"Dear! In Spiritual field if you say, 'I know!', you don't know!'"

"Ok.. If I say, 'I don't know!', it means I know?'"

"Even if you say, 'I don't know!', still you don't know!"

"What? Ok.. I keep silence, it means I know Spirituality?"

"Even then one will not be Spiritual!"

"Too much.. Then, when a person will be Spiritual?"

"That's a wrong question!"

"What?"

"Yes, dear! The Great Philosopher said, 

"Our minds are like open books in front of us. We both can sit together and read our books. But I can only read my book and you can only yours.. 

In Spiritual Search, we both can max do only this. How each one of us understands our books and accordingly firm up our ideas and get into our actions are purely left to us!"

A person came to the Great Saint and said, 

"Sir! I am not able to concentrate on the God you are talking of and do meditation!"

The Saint asked, 

"Which form you like as your dearest?"

The person replied, 

"I've a goat kid. I love that one a lot!"

The Saint smiled and said, 

"Imagine its face and meditate on that form.  You needn't to do anything more!"

The same Saint also said,

"The person working at the busy cross roads putting forward the best effort concentrating on the task in front is better in the field of Spirituality than a person who does Research on the Subject!"

"Dear! Spirituality for me at this moment is nothing but 

Sincerely doing my daily duties to core all along living thru' 

The principle of 'Neti' (Na+Iti).. Meaning.. 'Not this.. Not This.. Not this!'

As much in my life and if sincerely done thus to the best of my knowledge,

I have truly done something in the direction of Spirituality!"

From Orphanage thru' adoption and brought up for the past 20 yrs. The result you see yourself..

Today, that fully grown adult stands on own feet and earns decent monies for living..

I am the happiest!"

Said the 4th person with a smile..

God Smiled from Above and Blessed the 4th person!

"I spoke.. I was ridiculed; my Senior, 5 yrs elder spoke.. Everyone nodded. Sad!"

Young man of 20 was heard saying..

Time passed.. He was in mid 20s..

"I spoke.. Every one nodded; the same Senior spoke.. Every one gave thumbs up. Don't get it!"

He was heard saying..

Time moved.. He was in mid 30s..

"I spoke.. Every one gave thumbs up; the same Senior spoke.. Every one clapped. Experience speaks!"

He used to say..

Time not stopped.. He was in mid 40s..

"I spoke.. Every one clapped; the same Senior spoke.. Every one cheered. Maturity speaks!"

He was saying..

Time continued moving.. He was in mid 50s..

"I spoke.. Every one cheered; my Junior, 5 yrs  younger spoke.. Every one listened with pin drop silence. Why so?"

He queried..

A Celestial Voice Spoke from Above,

"You and your Senior spoke on issues related to materialism. Your Junior Spoke the Truth!"

All of a sudden, time appeared stopped,

Seconds seemed moving at snail's pace,
Minutes needed continuous pushing and
Hours almost stood standstill

Leaving no hope of experiencing newness

Making

Restlessness hit me left and right
And
My pen laughing at me saying,

"I won't move whatever you do!"

I felt no energy to do anything, the essential works forcibly pulling me into action with a feeling of a mountain on my back as

Creative thoughts to write totally stopped flowing in me..

Suddenly there was a flash..

"Oh! Is it real or dream?"

I pinched myself and checked on and on..

"Yes.. No dream.. It's very much reality. It's happening.. God! What a Blessing!"

In no time,

Seconds started racing,
Minutes started jumping and
Hours started moving

Making 

Joy surround me and

My pen smiling at me saying,

"I am at your service!"

Essential works next to me gently putting me into action as

Stream of creative thoughts to write started dancing in front of me non stop!

When touched 5, the wide eyed child was heard answering the question with all firmness..

"13+4=17!"

When grown to 12, the young one was heard bi-hearting the algebraic equation at hi pitch..

"(a+b)^3=a^3+3a^2b+3ab^2+b^3!"  

When touched 16, the youth was seen saying proudly..

"The solution of cubic equation ax^3+bx^2+cx+d=0 is

And as per my calculation, I should get Rs.... to my account.. 

Where did I go wrong?
