THE EVER LIVE NINE TRAITS OF POCKETS!

  • As pockets start emptying, problems start mushrooming and when pockets become empty, faults come up plenty!
  • In the beginning money in pocket looks like honey and the person rules like gunny; soon that money flows around smelling sweet and the person floats around with fragrance spread all over; in the end, that pocket money becomes boney and the person in picture becomes funny!
  • Pockets remain full, praises go endless!
  • Lending pockets and spending hands go together!
  • As pockets start draining, rainy days start dancing!
  • Mending a person with spending habit ever remains a pending task sending alarm signals around endlessly!
  • Vending machines play endless music as spending habits dance non stop!
  • Pockets rule as well as get fooled depending on one's hold!
  • Pockets filled nil, ills kill truth; Pockets filled full, truth goes dull; Pockets filled right, truth blooms upright!

THE TIME, WHEN THE SUN GOD REFUSED TO RISE..

'Namah Suryaya Shantaya Sarva roga nivaarine
Ayu Rarogya Maisvairyam Dehi Devah Jagatpate.'

It was year 1971..

"Chachu! Tomorrow's date is 01/11/71 and on this special day of this year, the Sun is not rising!"

The 10 yr old girl said to her Chachu with sparkling eyes the earlier day evening..

"Oh! is it, dear? What to do, Beta? We are in trouble!"

Said her Chachu pretending worried..

"You have to Pray to Sun God to rise!"

"Is it? Ok.. I'll do that, dear!"

"Yes, Chachu.. Don't stop praying till the Sun God rises!"

"Right, dear! We should do that!"

"Not we.. You should do that!"

"Why not all, Beta?"

"Yes, Chachu.. You start and we join you!"

"Ok, dear, I promise I do that but only if Sun does not rise!"

Said her Chachu with a smile..

That night as usual, the early riser to go for his work place 20 km away, the Chachu, set his alarm at 0500 AM for getting up in the morning and went to sleep..

The alarm set on the time piece went thru' sharp at 0500 AM, the Chachu got up, got ready and when the wall clock showed 0520 AM sat with his hot cup of tea to have a glance at the day's news paper but to his dismay found the news paper by then had not come..

He was glancing at the earlier day news paper and in between looking at his wrist watch and outside thru' the window for the twilight to appear so that he can start moving at his usual time 0545 for his bus..

Soon, it was 0540 hrs but strangely the outside twilight seen was missing..

He felt something odd and looked at wall clock..

He waited for 10 minutes.. Lo.. The clock moved to 0545 hrs.. 0550 hrs.. But no sign of light..

Suddenly he became impatient, repeatedly looked at wall clock in the hall at lower level, the alarm time piece and his wrist watch all showing by then time 0600 hrs, but there was no morning light..

"What the niece said that evening.. Was it happening?

'Tomorrow Sun God will not be Rising!'

How she could sense that?

Yes.. She...

Is she gifted with Divine Grace?

What's happening?"

A strange feeling took over him and without his own knowledge, he instantly prayed to the Sun God thru' the famous Sloka and
beyond continued waiting..

Time moved on..

0615 hrs.. 0620 hrs.. 0625 hrs.. 0626 hrs.. 0627 hrs.. 0628 hrs.. 0629hrs.. 0630 hrs..

Time moved on limping but no sign of twilight..

"Good Morning, Chachu!"

The sweet voice of his niece was heard from behind..

"I was seeing you praying to God.. Ok.. He will come up now!"

'Yes.. She was right..

0635 hrs.. 0640 hrs.. 0645 hrs..

The shining twilight was seen in the Eastern Direction..

And in no time got brightened and the Sun God was preparing to show up..

The story ends here but the mystery behind that strange happening when dug into deepth was found to be..

The little girl secretly set the 2 time devices of her home and the wrist watches by advancing the time by an hr after all went to bed that night and she successfully did that job without anyone getting an iota of doubt!

WINNING OVER MYSELF.. WHAT'S IT LIKE IN MY LIFE?

"I love to follow the Sacred Path 'A' of less selfishness!"

"Do you love to follow the Sacred Path 'B' of lesser selfishness?"

"Yes.. That seems better.. I'll follow that!"

"Do you love to follow the Sacred Path 'C' of much lesser selfishness?"

"Ok.. Ok.. Done.. I'll follow that!"

"Do you like to follow the path 'X' of a bit more selfishness compared to the Path 'C'?"

"What? What are you saying?"

"Do you like to follow the path 'Y' of much more selfishness compared to the Path 'C'?"

"I don't get you. I think, I made a mistake of telling you about my doing!"

"Do you like to follow the path 'Z' of a much, much more selfishness compared to the Path 'C'?"

"Ugh..."

"Yes, dear.. 'Z' the right path for you to follow in your life!"

"How?"

"Dear! To be free from such a conflict in one's life, the only way in front of the person is to win over himself/herself and by following Truth in life at every moment..

But ordinary human being may not be able to perceive the Truth in life ‘As Is!’

Here alone Lord Krishna says to Prince Arjuna thru'

Sloka 35, Chapter III of Srimad Bhagavad Gita,

'Shreyan swadharmo vigunah paradharmaat swanusshthitaat
Swadharme nidhanam shreyah paradharmo bhayaavahah.'

'Ever safe is one’s own duty than the duty of another even well discharged. Better is even death in one’s duty than the duty of another full of fear!'

Thus seen, the right way in front of an ordinary person is

Living thru' attention cum relaxation

To win over himself/herself ultimately!"

MY DUTY AT THIS MOMENT.. WHAT'S IT IN MY LIFE?

"Sir! What exactly is one's duty in one's life at any point of time?"

"Dear! As I start leading my life, there is ever

A service option with me..

This service option is a dynamic entity and if I discharge that job to core in the right time, my life will be filled with peace max..

My 'self' ever opposes me doing that service giving me a thousand and one reasons and tries to convince me that doing what it says is good for me..

I may oppose my 'self' for some time but soon get vexed with the turmoil in me and succumb to the the pressures of my 'self'..

Well aware of this happening, our elders and wise people around me have seen that I do what I like only but positioned few called

'My People'

Next to me including people of/in
  • My Core family,
  • My Greater family,
  • My Friendship,
  • My Neighborhood,
  • My State and
  • My Country
Etc.. Etc..

Simultaneously advising me to maintain cordial relations with people who fall outside these Circles..

That total doing from my end at any point of time alone is

MY DUTY IN MY LIFE AT THIS MOMENT!"

CAPABILITY.. WHAT'S IT IN OUR LIVES?

"I think, I am the most capable person!"

I said proudly..

"Based on what you are saying that?"

The person of deep wisdom queried..

"The fields I entered, I was 100% success in all!"

I replied..

"That alone will not prove your capability. It may be luck or they may be one time happenings!"

The wise person said..

"How can you say that so easily?"

I questioned back..

"Because capability is ever filled with dynamic qualities from a person that constantly show up as the person starts working with dedication and not mere talk of the achievements..

You know?

  • Behind every able man, there are other able men. (Chinese Proverb)
  • Great abilities produce great vices as well as virtues. (Greek Proverb)
  • Able people can do more. (Chinese Proverb)
  • God does not ask our ability but our availability. (Author Unknown)

As one starts showing the above said traits and give outputs constantly with a cheerful smile, the world sure recognizes the person and that recognition alone completes the definition of the word..

CAPABILITY OF A PERSON!"

Clarified the wise person with a smile!

DOUBTLESS ACTIONS.. 'D' , 'S' AND 'S'.. AT ANY POINT OF TIME IN MY LIFE!

"I'm confused..

If I do action 'A' and something goes wrong, I'll be squarely blamed..

If I do action 'B' and something goes wrong, I'll be squarely blamed..

If I do action 'C' and something goes wrong, I'll be squarely blamed..

What to do?"

"Do action 'D' in the situation, beyond 'S' and ultimately 'S!'"

"What is 'D?' How that will solve my problem?"

"'D' is your varying duty in the situation!"

"I didn't get it!"

"Dear! Perception of duty from your end changes with time. At the moment what you perceive as your duty, do that 'D' without fail!"

"Then, what is 'S?'"

"'S' is.. Whatever happens when you do 'D',

Take it with a smile..

OK.. What else is another 'S' then?

Beyond 'D' and 'S', the second 'S' is the

Ultimate Action required from your end!"

"What is that?"

"Keeping silence Beyond!"

THE IN AND OUT OF PLANNING!

Plans, duties and results:

Let me have well laid out plans; let me do the best possible; let me leave the result as much!

The irony of living:

I made 101 plans to achieve what I liked; I made zero plans to complete my duty in front!

The oft forgotten reality:

I decided to do my duty with all devotion. Truth next to me reminded me that planning for future is part of that duty!

The firm decision required, at times:

Let me do my duties with all dedication; let me plan doing them with double dedication!

The Reality of life:

Plan..

  • Promised future, "I'll help you!";
  • Requested past, "Help me!";
  • Said to present, "Let's help each other!"

The Ever Live Song of PLANNING:

'Preparing well in advance,

Leaving no room for apathy,

Adding time tested practices in between,

Never feeling less,

Never taking easy,

In time, let me do to my duties with

No less dedication and thus

Go ahead in my life with all firmness!'

A RELOOK INTO MY CLAIMS, AT TIMES!

"The Great Personality used to do activity 'A' regularly. I also do that activity constantly in my life and I feel that at least I could do something in line with what the Great Personality did!"

"Dear! The Great Personality had done actions 'B', 'C', 'X', 'Y' and 'Z' also along with action 'A.' Are you doing those actions too?"

"No!"

"Then start doing those actions 'B','C','X','Y' and 'Z' too along with action 'A!'

"Sir! I can't do the actions you mentioned but the one I mentioned, I could do freely without a problem. Is not something better than nothing?"

"Yes as well as No!"

"Means?"

"That action done by the Great Personality is a simple action feasible for every one, if one make's few changes to his/her lifestyle and if you understand that way, 'Yes' is the suited answer here else your pride may be behind your saying!"

"What?"

"Yes, Dear! That action if done by a majority in time may solve certain shortcomings of society or perennial shortages in the country as well as may lead to certain peace and prosperity around

And, the Great Personality did that to set an example to others for en masse actions or change of habits..

Other than those actions meant for general public as guidelines to follow, if I look at the quantum of sacrifices the Great Men and women did boldly, I'm nowhere there with my own limitations except carrying due respect to the Great Personalities for those sacrifices done

Either for

Eradicating certain evils of the societies

Or for

Betterment of the down trodden!"

BECAUSE I NEED TO KNOW.. #BlogchatterBlogHop

The guest post today is contributed by my daughter. In this piece, she examines the specific habits and behaviours that social media has normalised within her own life.

If social media has normalised one thing for me, it is the freedom to be unapologetically curious.

I have always had a wide range of interests. My mind rarely stays with one subject for long before wandering off to another. For years, I found it difficult to fit neatly into a single bracket. I enjoyed history, geography, science, music, languages, films and countless other subjects, but I rarely came across people who shared that same breadth of curiosity.

I have also always been more of a reader than a poster. While many people use social media to document their lives, I have used it to explore the world. Over time, it has become an endless collection of rabbit holes, each leading to another question, another story and another world I never knew existed.

One day I learnt that Antarctica does not have its own time zone. Another day it was the history of Sikkim, which immediately took me back to the Dev Anand classic Jewel Thief. Until then, it had never occurred to me that the Sikkim portrayed in the film belonged to a very different political reality. On other days, I wandered into stories about the curious border between the United States and Canada, unusual places to visit in New York and London, the reflections of a mariner that transformed the way I thought about the seas, forgotten episodes from history, and even how Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt’s Mohan Veena added its distinctive voice to some of A. R. Rahman’s compositions. Every answer seemed to lead to another question.

Somewhere along the way, I realised that I am drawn less to information than to inquiry. I enjoy following a question simply because it exists, with no purpose other than the pleasure of understanding.

Social media also revealed something unexpected about me. I had never stopped to think about how eclectic my taste in music really was. I could lose myself in the psychedelic soundscapes of Pink Floyd, the hard hitting rap of the South Korean group BTS, the haunting chants of Tibetan Buddhist monks, the evocative music of Native American traditions, the powerful vocals of Lady Gaga, the mellifluous melodies of Hemant Kumar or the ethereal sound of Enigma. It surprised me to realise that my musical world recognised neither linguistic nor cultural boundaries. It simply responded to whatever moved me.

More importantly, social media helped me find my kindred spirits. I discovered people who were just as fascinated by maps, obscure historical facts, musical instruments, hidden corners of cities, scientific oddities and countless other seemingly random subjects as I was. Suddenly, curiosity did not feel lonely. It felt shared.

Of course, social media is no substitute for reliable sources. Much of what appears online deserves to be questioned and verified. Yet, despite its many shortcomings, it has done something rather wonderful. It has made curiosity feel ordinary. It has made it perfectly acceptable to be enthusiastic about subjects that others might dismiss as trivial.

It has enriched my life in quieter ways too. At the end of a particularly stressful day, it is often those delightfully ridiculous reels that make me laugh and remind me not to take life quite so seriously. Sometimes, that is exactly the reset I need.

As a teacher, social media has also helped me connect with my students in ways I had never anticipated. Picking up the occasional piece of Gen Z slang, recognising the influencers they follow or understanding the cultural references they casually make has made conversations with them far more natural. It has never been about trying to cultivate a cool persona. It has simply been my way of telling them, “I understand your world.” More often than not, I genuinely do understand it far better than I did before. That understanding has made me a more empathetic teacher, a better listener and, I hope, someone my students feel comfortable talking to.

It has also been a humbling experience. I realised that I am not nearly as unique as I once imagined. There are countless people across the world who share the same delight in asking questions, making unexpected connections and discovering something new every day. Social media has introduced me to remarkably talented writers, artists, musicians, teachers, photographers and storytellers whose work I might never have encountered otherwise. Many may never receive the opportunities they deserve, but they have found a platform where their voices can be heard.

For all the criticism it rightly attracts, that is what social media has normalized for me. Not posting, but wondering. Not simply collecting information, but delighting in discovery. Most of all, it has shown me that curiosity is not a solitary pursuit. There are kindred spirits everywhere, waiting at the end of yet another rabbit hole.

A SECOND LOOK!

Once all even numbers got applause forever being

Smooth flowing,
Interesting to deal,
Easy to work with and
Simple to use..

"How about you?"

Queried the even numbers, the odd ones. The odd numbers were silent..

There was a Unique Message around..

"Even Numbers,

You know?

The Tri Murtis,
The Pancha Bhootas,
The Sapta Rishis and
The Nava Grahas

Are forever with the odd numbers..

Also,

The Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra,
The Om Namah Shivaya Mantra and
The Gayatri Mantra

Are ever given a chance of repeating first 101 times and if required only, 108 times..

Beyond you know.. The Famous Quotation and Proverb forever go thus..

"You have be odd to be No One!" (Dr Seuss)

And

To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world. (English Proverb)"

THE ENDLESS STORY OF MY 'YES' AND 'NO!'

When wrong is proposed by the powerful, it is very difficult to say 'NO' but very easy to say 'YES!'

To make that my 'YES' a 'NO', I should have done a lot of homework before, which my ignorance kept me off from doing and that story continues even today..

Here alone, I should become alert and firm up within that a 'NO' to wrong is my ultimate aim but not immediate as an 'YES' now, straight away protects me..

Having said, 'YES' to the wrong doer thus, I shouldn't become lax but relook into my situation of changing that 'YES' to 'NO' as much and thus work out in a concrete way

To fill my life with the right 'YES' and the right 'NO'..

The No1 step of myself remaining strong enough for changing this 'YES' to 'NO' in respect of the wrong of the powerful, is start doing my assigned duties from this moment saying 'YES' to sincerity there in and thus move on in my life..

As I move thus in my life, many wrongs come in my way at my own level for which I develop the right capacity to say 'NO' equally strengthening the right next to me thru' a double firmness to 'YES!'

My story of saying 'NO' to wrong and 'YES' to right continues thus non stop as I start this discipline of living with the right 'YES' and the right 'NO' very much surrounding me along with the related people of same tempo of 'YES' and 'NO' too..

Thus I move on in time,

Carefully weeding out many wrongs thru' 'N' no of 'NO's and welcoming many rights thru 'N' no of 'YES's endlessly

All alongs streamlining my 'NO' and 'YES' with greater ease of course

The strength with me to say 'NO' to more serious wrongs purely coming thru'

The Cosmic Will

Alone; nothing less!

"DID YOU ACT IN THE RIGHT WAY TODAY?"

"Did you act in the right way today?"

I was queried..

"Why I won't do?"

I questioned with a curiosity..

"Because acting in the right way looks like a forced work at times and left to yourself, you wish to come out of it at the earliest!"

I was told..

"How?"

I asked. There was an answer..

"In respect of such actions

Initially,
You smile and take up,
If continued,
You pretend you are 'OK' doing them,
Soon,
You start feeling when all that will be over,
Later,
You start murmuring within,
Next,
Your murmurs become louder,
If continued,
You start cursing it,
And beyond in short time..
You start yelling, saying,
'I'll not do!'

Knowing this well alone, the wise around attached as much those works as the actions to be done from your end where you take interest and involve heart and soul thus making sure that good is done around in general..

Equally know that..

  • Talk does not cook rice. (Chinese Proverb)
  • Between saying and doing, many a pair of shoes is worn out. (Italian Proverb)
  • A man's actions are more important than his ancestry. (Kenyan Proverb)
  • A promise is a cloud; fulfilment is rain. (Arabian Proverb)
  • Force is that which rules the actions without regulating the will. (Traditional Proverb)
  • If your inner mind isn't deceived, your outer actions won't be wrong. (Tibetan Proverb)
  • When deeds speak, words are nothing. (African Proverb)

DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPINESS IS?

Happiness and Service are ever twins!

The best assets of human being are happiness and peace of mind!

He is not happy who does not realize his happiness. (Latin Proverb)

The memory of happiness makes misery woeful. (Latin Proverb)

You can never be happy at the expense of happiness of others. (Chinese Proverbs)

Happiness is not perfected until it is shared. (African Proverb)

Happiness is a form of courage. (American Proverb)
  • I thought I am happy; happiness flew away from my window..
  • I planned to be happy; happiness foiled my plans..
  • I managed to be happy; happiness could not be tamed..
  • I craved for happiness; happiness never cared for me..
  • I ran for happiness; happiness kept distance from me..
  • I searched for happiness; happiness hid from me..
  • I displayed my wealth for happiness; 'keep it with you!' happiness said to me..
  • I struggled to be happy; happiness avoided me..
  • I aimed remaining happy; happiness vanished from me..
  • I looked at happiness; happiness looked away from me..
  • I disciplined myself to be happy; happiness broke my discipline..
  • I read books on happiness; happiness remained a mirage for me..
Not knowing what to do, I silently got onto my duty..

Happiness was seen floating in front of me with the famous Proverb and Quotation happily floating around me..

The best way of finding happiness is not to search for it. (Cuban Proverb)

And

To buy happiness is to sell soul. (Doug Horton)

IGNORANCE WITH ME.. WHAT'S IT LIKE?

"I know 100%!"

I screamed aloud. Instantly the right Saying surrounded me..
  • Don't talk too much because your ignorance is greater than your knowledge. (Spanish Proverb)
"Ok.. But.. I know more than required!"

I asserted. One more Saying was next to me..
  • Better ask a question than remain ignorant. (Traditional Proverb)
"Ok.. Ok.. I know a lot!"

I said no less. Another Saying was heard in distance..
  • Better a sick body than ignorant mind. (Greek Proverb)
"Done! I know not less!"

I couldn't stop asserting. One more Saying was seen floating in front of me..
  • The ignorant is his own enemy. (Palestinian Proverb)
"What? Ok.. I know something!"

I said firmly. 2 Sayings that followed, created a doubt in me..
  • Knowledge is the mother of all virtues; all vice proceeds from ignorance. (Traditional Proverb)
  • Fear of an ignorant man is more than a lion. (Kurdish Proverb)
"Is it? Then how much I know?"

I expressed a doubt. Three Sayings started educating me..
  • The bitterness of studying is preferable to the bitterness of ignorance. (Filipino Proverb)
  • Ask advice of an ignorant man, he will think you are his enemy. (Arabian Proverb)
  • A wise man takes his own decisions; the ignorant goes with the crowd. (Chinese Proverb)
"Agreed.. I don't know much.. I need to know!"

I said concurring with the Sayings. Two more Sayings continued educating me..
  • If you want to gain a lot of knowledge, act as if you are ignorant. (Vietnamese Proverb)
  • Better ask a question than to remain ignorant. (Traditional Proverb)
"Ah! Don't I know even this?"

I said becoming calm for a moment. The famous Quotation smiled at me..
  • Beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance. (George Bernard Shaw)
"Am sorry.. I know little.. No.. No.. I don't know anything..

"But.. Sure, I know one thing..

I am ignorant amidst the sea of knowledge around me!"

Saying thus finally, I bowed down with all humility. The 2 Greatest Sayings Blessed me thru' their Revelation..
  • I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance. (Socrates)
  • Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance! (Confucius)

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.. A RE-LOOK INTO MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY! #BlogchatterBlogHop

I was in class 7. I had an option of speaking on a subject in my Elocution Period. I avoided giving my name. My father came to know about that, straight away met my Class Teacher and included my name..

"I don't like giving speech in front of my friends!"

I pleaded..

"You should develop these skills. Avoiding is no solution. Select one of topics given, prepare well and speak out!"

Ordered my dad. I murmured within..

I was in class 9. I had to give my name for a Voluntary Service. I avoided that. My father came to know that, went to my school and straight way gave my name..

"I have to concentrate on my studies. These come in my way!"

I said..

"Try manage both. You should involve in such works once in a way!"

Clarified my father saying indirectly that there was no go there. I was angry but kept quiet..

I was in my 12th class. I concentrated, wrote the local competitive exam and was through. My father made me apply for other competition exams too where I was eligible and write those exams..

"Why all these when I am sure of my local exam?"

I asked..

"You should know what competition is!"

Explained my father..

"This way, I am confused!"

I replied. My dad kept quiet..

I had my selection of job wherein out of the two local postings I got, one had less Pay and 6 month training outside my city..

"This Company is better than the other even though they pay less initially and have training away from Headquarters. Select this one. it is a good start in your Career!"

Said my father..

"When the other Company is paying more and their training is only for 3 months that too locally, why all this unnecessary work? I want to join the second Company!"

I asserted..

"Do what I say. There is good in that for you in the long run!"

Assured my dad..

I moved out reluctantly for 6 months, had my training and was posted back to my city. I was the happiest person on the first day of going for my Job. My dad silently wished me the best. I returned late in the evening quite tired and was resting in my room. All the time I was silent. My dad asked what had happened at my first day of work..

I said,

"They showed my place and assigned me some Work. I had to continuously do that all the eight hrs till the last minute the office closed except for lunch and tea rreaks. That's all, nothing great!"

"Yes, dear, relax now! You are at your best. All these days, my constant worry was to put you in this line which was never one day's work. It's a total build up from scratch from the time you entered your school. You might have resisted many times, but finally co-operated and joined in every activity I insisted..

Ultimately good is done to you, to your personality and to your Career!"

Said my father with a smile on his face and a pat on my back!

GRATITUDE WITH ME.. SURE, A GOLDEN DISCIPLINE!

"It's my life, my living and my wish. None has a right to utter a single word on my doings!"

Saying thus, I expanded proudly. The wise person next to me said,

"No doubt it's your life and you have 100% right to define it in a way, you want. A small note.. If you decipher the tiny bits of that life of yours, have you noticed what they are made of?"

"What else? Those tiny bits are made of my doings and my doings alone!"

"Were you alone all these years of you coming up to this level?"

"Okay.. Others were there. But all works were paid back. They received money!"

"Should they not receive something else too?"

"What else? The price is ever bargained and agreed one. I paid that!"

"No doubt, you paid for it. But it doesn't end there. You know?
  • Even a hen after it drinks water, raises its head to skies to thank God. (Greek Proverb)"
"What?"

MY CONFIDENCE!

The task in front appeared too tough and max demanding. For a moment, I was clueless and looked up helplessly..

The Passing dark cloud was seen shining with a silver lining..

I recovered..

The neighborhood boy was heard repeating the Proverbs he was taught..
  • "A smooth sea never makes skilled sailor.
  • Where there is a will, there is a way.
  • If you think you can, you can.
  • Practice makes perfect.
  • It is better be a lion for a day than a sheep all your life.
  • Believe you can, you are halfway.
  • A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step."
I picked up..

Right at that moment, my Inner Consciousness was seen echoing some more Proverbs I learnt in my childhood into my ears..
  • 'Fortune favors the bold.
  • Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
  • He who stands for nothing will fall for anything.
  • Action breeds confidence.
  • Fake it, you will make it.
  • You cannot pour from an empty cup.
  • The only way to do great work is to love what you do.
  • Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.
  • No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
  • Do it with confidence or not at all.'
I got almost 70% of my confidence to act..

The wise man in distance was seen quoting few famous Quotes from Great Personalities boosting my that confidence further..
  • "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. (Eleanor Roosevelt)
  • If we do things we are capable of doing, we will literally astound ourselves. (Thomas Alva Edison)
  • It is not mountain we conquer, but ourselves. (Sir Edmund Hillary)
  • You yourself as much as anyone in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection (Lord Buddha)
  • Your value does not decrease based on some one's inability to see your worth. (Unknown)
  • With realization of one's own potential and self confidence in one's ability, one can build better world. (Dalai Lama)"
My confidence to act was straight away put on the tracks and I was ready to act..

Right at that moment on distant loud speakers,

Verse 66, Chapter XVIII of Srimad Bhagavad Gita

Was heard being recited melodiously conveying

The Message of Lord Krishna to Price Arjuna on

SUPREME ACTION:

'Sarva dharman parityajya
mam ekam saranam vraja
aham tvam sarvapapebhyo
moksayisyami ma sucah.'

'Relinquishing all ideas of righteousness (the right and wrong as known to you), surrender unto me exclusively; I will deliver you from all sinful reactions (what your mind proposes), do not despair.'

PROBLEM WITH ME.. WHAT'S IT LIKE?

"I wish I am free from my this pestering problem!"

I mused aloud. Instantly, the Good Spirit appeared in front of me and said,

"Your wish will be fulfilled!"

I was thrilled beyond..

"Oh! Really? God.. What a relief? Thank you, Good Spirit. I am truly blessed!"

I said screaming..

"What are you going to do now?"

"What else? I lead my normal life!"

"What is that life like? Can I know?"

"Doing my jobs and relaxing beyond!"

"Can you describe what that doing jobs means?"

"Solving day to day problems!"

"So, you are once again getting into problems. Then why were you thinking of getting away from this particular problem?"

"It is beyond my capacity to resolve!"

"What would have happened, had you continued with the problem?"

"My peace of mind would have gone!"

"Are you at peace, now?"

"Why not?"

"What happens, if a second pestering problem surfaces now?"

"Let me see then!"

"Just because, you close your eyes to the issue, the issue will not go away from you!"

"What are you saying?"

"Yes, dear.. Your fear of getting into such problems is bigger now as you are avoiding one such problem. That way you become weaker. Do you want to continue this becoming weaker on and on?"

"What? Means.. No.. No.. Never.. I don't want any weakness with me. Good Spirit! You opened my eyes.. I don't want to be off from my this problem. I'll fight it out.. Wish me all the best.. That's enough!"

As I felt my problem becoming lighter thus, the Good Spirit flew away from me as a beautiful butterfly giving me the firm hope of standing to the situation, whatever be and fight heroically..

Right at that moment, on the distant loud speakers Slokas 2 and 3, Chapter II, Srimad Bhagavad Gita were heard being recited melodiously with the meaning explained in parallel wherein Lord Krishna said to Arjuna..

Kutas tva kasmalam idam visame samupasthitam
anarya justam asvargyam akirti-karam arjuna.

O Arjuna! From where this illusion of yours appeared in this moment of crisis? This is not befitting honorable men nor conducive to the attainment of heavenly spheres and is the cause of infamy..

Klaibyam ma sma gamah partha naitat tvayy upapadyate
ksudram hrdaya-daurbalyam tyaktvottistha parantapa.

O Arjuna! Do not yield to unmanliness, this is not worthy of you, O chastiser of enemies. Giving up this base weakness of heart, rise up!
