All this is seemingly true but none of the problems are due to 'democracy'. It is to do with the people who are operating it, making it a mockery. As a system, can you suggest anything better than a democracy with no demerits whatsoever?
Thanks Rajeev for the good query you raised here and my answer is here.. Democracy alone is the best form of governing as that ultimately guarantees sure quite an amount of freedom expression. If you look at the ruiing democracies in the world, these fallacies continuously prevail because not only the Rulers are not up to the mark but the chain of implementation has little interest in the well being of the weak man but most of the times concentrates on the self care in not being pulled up. As major ruling and implementing groups have that type of attitude except countable numbers who rise with a service attitude, the quoted lines forever surface. They are just metaphors, not that 100% happen that way but an indication that my struggle is no less in securing my rights and my care is equally required..Hope I made the clarification needed.. A good critical comment on the Post here!
