POST 3 - PROSPERITY COST! #WriteAPageADay

A King visited the distant prosperous Kingdom on a request call..

He spent a few days there and the King of the prosperous Kingdom quickly showed him all those extra ordinary facilities he provided for his people in their routine life..

The King got very much inspired with all that and on return, decided to provide the same for his people too. The friendly King of prosperous Kingdom in no time offered the expertise help required there with no cost at some places and with a small cost at other places and promised to continue giving that support..

The wise Minister raised his objection for the implementation of the new schemes saying that it was not a feasible idea for his people. The King snubbed him off in no time as enough finances were there in the Treasury for the support. The ambitious scheme was soon through..

In few weeks, the specific facilities were with people at every corner.. The King felt..

• 'Where there's a will there's a way!' 

After all it was not a difficult job.. His ambition was to go ahead with the next program that was lurking in his mind..

But there was an issue.. A serious one indeed..

The facilities at various points in the kingdom in short time started giving problems of maintenance and upkeep. An attempt was made to address the same but found that it was a Herculean job to do that as..

• Expertise was not available around to look into the problems which had to be subsequently purchased continuously from the prosperous Kingdom at high cost, 

• Spares were not available to the number required, 

• A few available had prohibitive price as the quality had to be maintained and 

• Spurious spares which were in no time in the market started giving problems the next day of their fitment.. 

In no time, the precious life saving finances, energies and time had to be diverted to maintain the ambitious Project going on which was impossible to do..

Thus, soon the facilities at all points in the kingdom were closed and people were back to their own ingenious ways of living their life without them. The king was a just a mute watcher in front the whole Project being shelved through..

The wise Minister was right,

• 'What you can't maintain through out the life, you should never have in the beginning itself!'

POST 1 - NO DOUBT, IT'S ALL BUSINESS! #WriteAPageADay

A young man got into a new but a mediocre job which never payed him much and he equally could not shift to another job too immediately as the Employers preferred a certain work experience from his end. He was not satisfied with his immediate earnings and wanted to boost the same thru' an indirect business continuing his job and accordingly decided to venture into a small business all by himself afresh..

As he had no experience in the field, some one told him to take advice from one who was well known in the field but actively not doing any business in that line. When contacted, that person advised him on how and where to invest his finances. 3 months passed and on a fine day, the young man incurred a big loss and instantly found that one fourth of his investment gone at a single stroke..

A close friend told him that the previous Adviser might have been tipped by the big man in the field and so it would be always better to get a second independent opinion, average out and decide in all such ventures. And the young man had no way other than go for it. Another 3 months passed. It looked worked, but still there was a loss in the business and after all calculations the young man found that he lost an additional of one eighth of his investment..

Another friend advised him to take 2 such additional opinions in the field from two independent parties and decide based on the average of the three and the young man had no go again but to follow that. Next, six months passed thus. He was stable for a while, initially certain loss was there but of negligible percentage and soon profits showed up in small numbers..

A third friend advised him always to average out the best opinions available around and act. The young man soon followed that. But the success was again limited as the profits too averaged out..

Finally a well-wisher advised him to go to the person who was a Stalwart in the field and take his advice. The young man accordingly went to him, got the advice and returned..

And thereafter, he consistently made sizable monies in his life without a break!

What did the Stalwart in the field advice him in that context?

• The Stalwart advised him to resign from his on going job as well as stop venturing in all those businesses and as he had got certain min experience in business dealings, offered him a Senior Position in his own Company for a handsome salary..

"I work from dawn to dusk and after simple dinner and small engagement with family, instantly fall asleep. Morning as I get up and freshen myself, I'm back to my work. I don't understand what that extra care I should take, you all are talking of?"

Queried the humble worker with a simple smile!

Said aloud the one in mid 30s with an unknown joy explicitly seen on face..

• "My concept is to have good breakfast served hot and plenty. I love the concept.. Have the best breakfast, eat small lunch and again have good dinner!"

Said assertively the one in early 40s an awe seen on face..

• "For me, sumptuous breakfast is a thing of the past. Of late, I'm advised to cutdown my dietary consumption. This applies equally to my breakfast. A tasty breakfast in small quantities everywhere is my discipline of these days!"

Said the one in early 50s with a broad smile..

• "Presently, I have cutdown many items from my food and breakfast too is no exception here. Just 3 or 4 items served hot and tasty on a clean porcelain plate completes my this activity for the day!"

Said the one in early 60s with a cheer..

• "Now a days my consumption at table is reduced a lot. Just one item with steaming coffee by the side, makes my day in the morning hrs!"

Said the one in late 60s with a simple smile..

• "These days, I'm not that hungry in morning hrs and I decided to skip breakfast and limit myself with small nutritious consumptions for lunch and dinner. That sure keeps me quite active at this age!"

Said the one in mid 70s with a feeble smile!

E - THE (HARSH) REALITIES OF ECONOMICS!

• Even the lovable parents show the way out, if I do not work and contribute my share in time..

• A lakh may be huge but that's just a hundred thousands and will in no time be over when a thousand starts weighing light in my pocket.. 

• Spending lavishly may look the real life but it invariably means putting bundles into drain and if continued unchecked, soon the drain gets chocked filth overflowing all round.. 

• Expand double without checking the need of the hr, soon come back to part of the original without an exception.. 

• Between the 'Intrinsic Worth' and the 'Fascination Price' I pay thru' my irresistible buying, I'll slowly and steadily be pushed to the lower end of my living without my knowledge.. 

• When additional money is sensed, new relations would be defined and if I don't implement an effective pest control thru' my vigilance, soon I need to face a catastrophe.. 

• Stop spending part of the money on improvement, soon pass that money into hands who will invariably misuse the total of it without an exception..

And

• 'Retirement Approaching' means the second ‘Honeymoon’ is getting over with the ‘Blazing Sun’ awaiting to strike. Is the 'Safety Net Umbrella' ready?

SPENDING AND SAVING.. WHAT ARE THEY LIKE?

The penguin Penny was partying.. Seeing that the man of 50's mused aloud..

• “Penny wise and pound foolish! (English Proverb)

• A fool and his money are soon parted! (Dr. John Bridges)
• Spending is quick; earning is slow! (Russian Proverb)
• Riches have wings! (proverb)
• Rather go to bed supperless than rise in debt! (Ben Franklin)

I've decided to invest all my savings in good investment schemes where the returns are attractive as well as reasonably safe. That way the monies with us grow without our knowledge..

We should never keep these monies easily available as often there will be tendencies and pressures from few family members to spend those monies in the way they want equally creating a bad habit with them..

If resources are not available easily, people set right themselves and try to live only with what they have in front. That indirectly promotes a good discipline in the family..

I don’t like the youngsters wasting too much money on things which are really not required in life!”

The well-wisher listened to him patiently, smiled and said,

“My dear! Life is meant for living in a decent way as well as for one's development too. These two are never to be forgotten as we live through our lives. This development aspect is limited or more or less over for people of our age but the youngsters are different here..

They ever have ambitions/requirements of living thru' their life better and grow too all along. For this, they definitely need resources..

They begin from scratch with their limited salaries and most of the times they are left with fewer monies alone. Thus, some times their aspirations remain at low key because of lack of money and there they have their own inhibitions to ask elders..

It is the elders that should foresee this, come to their help in the right time by releasing part of what is in their possession. Of course, the monies are precious, always limited and so they are never to be spent on enjoyments and luxuries for which the working young definitely have to fend themselves alone. Also, all can't meet all their aspirations here just because they wish so..

Here, the elders forever should exercise great caution, 

•  Keep sufficient monies for their own comfortable living,
• Keep reserves for exigencies and emergencies and
• Release only the excess in steps so that aspirations of family are met partly at various stages in their life..

The plan and discipline required here can be executed by the elderly alone the best and they should equally insist the younger to listen to them on this for their own benefits!”

While departing the well-wisher said,

• “The monies of family are sacred and they belong to the entire family as a whole. They can neither be wasted nor kept stored when a development or growth of a member is at stake..

• And equally it should be made it known to the members of the family that an aspiration beyond the limits is never to be attempted as that ultimately drains out the precious resources and leaves all individuals exposed to the greater risks of Economic Threat which is truly a sin!”

THE STORY OF POWER AND REQUESTS!

God created human being and gave 2 bags..

One filled with limited entities of Power and the other with unlimited entities of Requests..

"Use them judiciously and flourish!"

God Blessed human being..

Human being decided to use Power first..

When used, everyone was seen listening..

If not listening, more Power did the job..

But the entities were limited and beyond human being was seen becoming Powerless..

Subsequently, human being looked at Requests..

Plenty but when used, few worked but beyond none bothered to listen..

In fact, more Requests means more remorse..

Human being thought and thought and at length decided..

"Why not use Power limited and Requests more?"

Soon fixed so many Requests for one Power use and implemented but that never worked properly whatever was the ratio of Requests to Power..

Finally human being decided,

"Keep both..

Use Requests on and on..

Not worked?

Use Power..

Again, use Requests on and on..

Not worked?

Use Power!"

Surprisingly, that started working and right then the concept of Management was born!

God was pleased.. Said to human being,

"If you stick to this, I give Separate Power to you which will be there with you all along!"

Right then the concept of Incentive Rewarding was born..

Human being started using both liberally..

Soon, Production picked up and that in turn,

Empowered People with more Power for use in their life effectively and progress which indirectly empowered back Managers with more power

With God giving Power to Humans no more required!

The car door might have been closed, locked and in addition the 'child lock' too is switched on few times

Still it is oft advised not to lean on to the door as the vehicle zooms!

The sophisticated aircraft might have been fully automated wherein the flying machine can land perfectly and safely in thick foggy conditions without a single look outside

Still the cockpit is ever equipped with basic instruments and controls for direct manual application, in addition!

The electrical appliances might have been made shock proof thru' earthing and few times double earthing backed by stringent standards of safety in manufacture and supply

Still it is advised always to keep off whenever the appliances are in use!

The lift might have been fully automated, provided with instant communication facilities for emergency hold ups and checked for all safe operations

Still a few times, they are avoided in order not to get trapped where it's possible to use stairs!

The thick walled steel wardrobes at home might have been locked, double locked, further the home itself is firmly locked/bolted and carefully checked before going out/going to bed

Still it is advised invariably to keep all the extra cash and valuables with a reputed bank!

Many nutrients and essentials might have been added to foods on shelves and further checked for stringent quality and safety in use

Still it is often advised to use fresh food direct from Nature!

Stringent travel plans might have been made backed by good monies in purse, essentials in carry bags, emergency contacts in phone and details of instant stop-overs in the mind

Still while leaving, the ever Green Message/Wish passed on is ‘Take Care!’

The person may too often, believe in money, power, status with the related built-in forts and people around

Still constantly wishes for ‘Lady Luck’ to favor!

As 

Uncertainty looms 

And 

Fear rules 

Endless

In spite of the best care taken, 

The ideal way to live this life is ever..

"The bank balances are good. The job really helped fill in the coffers. Sure can afford many things.. But can't take leave even for a day.. And don't want to do that.. Boss too insists on that..

No dearth for money and energy but no time for many things!"

POST RETIREMENT..

"Saved enough for future.. Have to prioritize doings.. Important issues first.. Rest can wait. People may say.. Things are pending for long.. No go.. Have to take them up only on need basis..

May be time and money no short but no energies beyond!"

'THE GREEN SIGNAL! '

I was suddenly surrounded by a strange scenario and people were seen living through a constant fear doubting every other man in the vicinity. The news heard used to be twisted in no time and presented in a way that looked entirely different with none remaining openminded easily. The life was practically going on thus through hours of happenings and monitoring totally forgetting the concept of the next day..

A midst those turmoils of life, the differences between our group and another group of our region soon became quite distinct. In the prevailing confusion, the other group just took over the ruling and started their own ruthless suppression of our group members. When we were thus quickly branded as the potential enemies, our united strength soon broke down and existed only at close levels in fighting for survival.

As life was moving thus, myself and three friends of mine came to know that a few of our group members somehow escaped from the place getting away thru' the exit gate of the border. We quickly sent our families thru' that gate as a group and expected them to reply where they had reached. But by that time, the enemy group became alert and barred all the in coming and out going calls outside the region simultaneously keeping stringent vigil at the exit gate.

Hearing that news, we felt totally depressed for a while but there was no go, we should also somehow escape else life was becoming tougher day by day. Soon we discussed together and hatched out a meticulous plan..

That evening after it became dark, we four dressed up approximately like army officers of our ruler with some fake dresses lying with us, sat in our vehicle one in the front, two at the back and myself in driver's seat and straight drove to the point of exit gate.

From a distance, we noticed the stringent checking of each vehicle passing through the gate and our hearts sank in no time. No doubt, the guards at the gate were fully vigilant. Every one’s heart was beating heavily and it appeared almost impossible to escape. And we very much knew what would happen to us if identified at the gate..

As we neared the gate, we noticed three vehicles in front of us, ours being the fourth one and the sentry at the gate kept the barrier lowered. Two guards in uniform with guns came forward to check the first vehicle..

Twenty minutes passed. The men of the first vehicle were proving their best that they never belonged to the enemy group but going out on their own. At length the barrier was lifted and the first vehicle was let go..

It was not the case for the second vehicle. The men were quickly found to be of enemy group in disguise and were squarely caught red handed. They were made to get down the vehicle and were taken to a side into the darkness. We from our jeep could distinctly hear the low voices of the people caught and the shouting from the guards and sure that was the limit for four of us..

Suddenly, my friend in rear seat shouted aloud in a shaking voice,

“Can't take it any more. Too much!”

One of the checking guards in front heard that and looked at our vehicle. My other friend next to him said in a further louder tone,

“We missed the right time. There's no point in waiting like this. Let's go back now. Everything appears to be out of control!”

Instantly, I lost my cool. In an aggressive mode, I quickly reversed my vehicle and zoomed past overtaking the vehicle in front and brought the vehicle near to the gate shouting at the top of my voice,

“Sheer senseless waiting.. We are squarely held up!”

As the vehicle suddenly came near to the gate, the same guard looked at us from back and started moving towards our vehicle..

My friend next to me saw that in the rear view mirror and instantly sensed that it was our end. In a total desperate mode he screamed in a shrill voice,

"What the hell is going on here?”

The guard heard that, instantly waved his hand to the gate sentry to open the gate for the vehicle saluting us in uniform!

We were in a total collapsed state by that time but myself having seen 

'THE GREEN SIGNAL',

Instantly got enormous energy, at one stroke pulled away at zooming speed acknowledging the salute of the guard through a firm hand raise myself breathing heavily and sweating all over, my heart pounding at an audible level with the rest of us no way better and in no time..

Suddenly the alarm bell went off wildly at 0600 hrs set. I instantly woke up, shook myself off, looked around. The sooner I came to senses, I remembered one of the great inspiring stories of the world war read that night from the book I borrowed from library and the in process dozed off without my own knowledge!

SURE, THAT SPECIAL DISH REMINDS.. #BLOGCHATTERBLOGHOP

A middle aged man was not liking the mixed tastes of foods of local and foreign origin served outside in the city to satisfy the taste buds of the younger generation..

In such times, the news spread that a new Eatery came up in the city serving 

A PARTICULAR DISH

With a special taste and aroma developed thru' years of experimentation. That's it..

Young people thronged the place in large numbers, there were long queues in front of the Eatery and the visitors were smelling the aroma of food served followed by lots of talk, praise etc..

The gentleman too visited the place one cool evening with his greater family. Soon they were at the special table and the hot

SPECIAL DISH 

Was served to them in short time. All praised the taste and aroma of 

THE DISH 

Saying,

"Hmm.. Excellent, Wonderful, so tasty!"

For the first time, the gentleman too liked 

THE DISH 

And unknowingly he exclaimed,

"THIS DISH 

Is really good!"

In that small Eatery, kitchen was just a few steps away from the dining area with 2 serving personal at the counter and the cook working behind seen by all..

The gentleman decided to thank the cook. Accordingly, he moved to the place while others were busy in eating, met the cook inside and said..

"Thank you dear! Even in these modern times, you could make 

THIS DISH 

Where an old timer like me could link something to my taste buds!"

The young cook smiled and said,

"Sir! All this should go to our old Chef my grand father who actually is the master expert behind all this. You can convey your thanks to him. Please do come with me!"

Saying thus, the young cook took the gentleman to the aged owner of the eatery. The gentleman thanked the elderly and said,

"Nice to meet you! You seem to belong to my earlier generation. Great. I got a similar taste of 

THE DISH 

Of our times!" 

The old Chef smiled and said,

"What you had eaten is the same 

DISH

Of my younger times. I did nothing to that except giving new name and a change to the presentation style!

In my younger days, I used to cook this delicacy in my hotel where I was employed. Slowly, the coming up younger generation i.e., your generation stopped liking my food and my hotel had to be closed.. 

Thus, I lost my value and my job. But, I could not change myself and adapt to the new cooking. I continued the same cooking in various small places and somehow survived..

Subsequently my son actively got into the new cooking styles but he too became outdated in time and thus our family had a low profile for many years.. 

After all those years, by luck we got some money released due to a court settlement. At once, we decided to open this small Eatery which any how was our family tradition of living and give modern youth this my

FAMOUS DISH.. IT CLICKED!"

The gentleman thanked the elderly and as he started moving, he queried,

"You told the Truth. If people come to know about this..."

The elderly Chef smiled and quipped,

"They just want
MY SPECIAL DISH
Not the history!"

Long ago there was an ‘Original Expertise’ around..

Time moved on and brought its own changes..

The followers increased in numbers but the experts making a living out of the expertise too increased but in a disproportionate way. Soon it was a situation of

Many mouths to feed..

No doubt, the resources were limited but few who had less expertise and more smartness suddenly became active in the field..

In no time, serious thoughts and plans were on the anvil. When such a mushrooming takes place around any field, 2 distinct things sure happen..

‘Dilution’ and ‘Different ways of saying the same!’

So slowly many boards started appearing..

• The Super Expertise.. Nothing to beat it!
• The Extra Ordinary Expertise.. You can never believe!
• The Novel Expertise.. From the very roots!
• The Unique Expertise.. A life time experience!

Soon people were slowly dragged to gather around the places of

‘The once upon a time single expertise’

Talked under different

Names,
Titles,
Medals and
Propaganda

Showing extra interest finally culminating into a state of living around with

What all was not there in the Original Expertise

And

What all was not needed for the Original Expression!

As the pay master was thus ultimately mesmerized to be happy with that in front, 

Nothing could stop the momentum gained in the process with the fortune makers shining all along, 

Of course none knowing the ultimate destination of the upsurge!

Another friend of him advised him to keep two such parties as secondary advisors, average the three and follow those guidelines..

That went on for another year..

The man made profit in his venture but little more only..

A 3rd friend of him advised to keep three such parties as advisors, average the four and follow those guidelines..

That went on for another year..

The man made profit in his venture but not big money..

A 4th friend of him advised to keep all well known parties as secondary advisors, average all and follow those guidelines..

That went on for another year..

The man sure made profit in his venture but that too averaged out..

Finally, a well-wisher advised him to go to the man who is established and active in the field and take his advice..

The man accordingly went to him, got the advice and returned..

Then onwards, he started earning handsome monies!"

The narrator told the story to a group of audience and asked them what would have bee the advice given by the established man in the business field to the man?

The audience couldn't get it and so asked the narrator what that advice was..

The narrator smiled and said,

'He advised the young man to join one of his Companies for a salary!'

A COOL PERSONALITY.. WHO IS THAT AND WHO IS NOT THAT!

There was a requirement of few Officials for the King and the Minister was asked to select. The selection criteria was for..

'One who keeps the composure the best in adverse situations!'

The tests were conducted by Specialists and soon many lost cool during the tests. The selected were categorized into 2 Groups..

• One keeping cool 75% to 90% 

And

• The Other keeping cool more than 90%

Of the testing time. The Report was given to the Minister in the presence of 2 Groups..

The Minister selected the 75% to 89% Group for the King's need..

The 90% and above Group instantly protested,

"How can you take us out in spite of we remaining more than 90% time cool?"

The Minister replied firmly,

"You are not fit for the job!"

Hearing that, the One who kept cool 100% exploded,

"It's gross injustice. You leave me, the 100% One for core need? You should have taken me as No1 there!"

• "See.. You lost your cool in real situation? Means, during the tests, you pretended and controlled yourself to secure the post. You are not natural!"

The Minister said and further clarified,

• "It's natural for one to lose cool under adverse situations some time or the other and never the other way unless one is a Saint..

My assessment here is

• 90% and above Group Ones are a bit unnatural backed by pretensions and left to their freedom, such people sure explode in adverse situations..

The Practical Ones are many times in the Group 75% to 90%!"

THE 'ONE PERFECT WEIRDO' OF MY LIFE!

“Hi! Why are you looking so weird and weak? Is it the age to be like this? It appears you don't have energy even to stand and ask.. And see the dressing sense..

Look like a perfect weirdo! 

OK, tell me. what do you want?”

They were the angry shoutings from a man who came across the adolescent of 15 in some deal..

Soon the adolescent was a young man of 22..

“Man! What happened to you? 

Looking like weirdo..

Have some dressing sense, dear.. Don’t have energy? In your age people should move mountains.. My boy is also like you.. I don’t know what’s wrong with you youngsters!”

Were the sarcastic comments from the Parent of his friend when he went to see him at his home..

He then turned to a man of mid 30s..

“What's that so much fat on your body? Beyond the dressing too looks odd.. So weird.. This's the age of many responsibilities and works;

Not appear like a weirdo..

How're you managing them all? Take care, my dear! Health failed, everything gone! Join some Gym first!”

Were the instant comments from a well-wisher..

Time passed and he was the middle aged man of 45..

“Hi! I am……. I regularly walk here and of late am seeing you daily.. You don't look so old and you are gasping for breath..

It's really weird..

You need to maintain your stamina.. Do something fast.. As an elderly, hope you don't mind me saying this!”

Were the soft comments / advice from an elderly co-walker..

He was soon a man of 55 yrs..

“Walking is the best for this age.. Leave your vehicle and do your activities on foot.. It sure helps you.. There seems to be still some fat in you.. It should get off.. Your dressing too should change..

A bit weird.. 

Hope you don't mind me saying this!”

Were the routine words from his Boss..

In no time, he retired and was past 65.. One day, as he was taking his evening Tea at a road side Tea stall, a young boy of about 15 yrs while asking the elderly Shopkeeper muttering a few words, left the item in his hands accidentally spilling something all round..

“Hi! Why are you looking so weird and weak? Is it the age to be like this? It appears you don't have energy even to stand and ask.. And see the dressing sense..

Look like a perfect weirdo! 

See that gentleman.. How steadily he took his tea and is drinking so well.. What's his age? Learn from him.. Go and ask how he became so trim and steady.. Next time, I'll not excuse you if you create such a nuisance in front of my shop..

OK, tell me. what do you want?”

THE ROLE OF MSMES AND E-COMMERCE PLATFORMS IN THE ECONOMIC GROWH OF ANY NATION..

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) forever remain the backbone of any country's economy because these Enterprises employ major population of the country both skilled and unskilled making use of their basic capabilities to the root and produce related products as well as make their services available for the population at a balanced price thus keeping the major economic chain of activities going..

The MSMEs sure are the golden gate to many people of a country as

• They can easily be set up nearer to people of a particular area..

• They often use raw materials of the neighborhood..

• These Enterprises easily adapt to local weather conditions..

• The control of these MSMEs is well possible by Local Ruling Agencies..

The MSMEs have basically 3 problems..

• They don't often have proper storage facilities of finished products..

• They can't directly reach consumers all by themselves..

• They don't have time too to set up these facilities as their productions are continuous, the weaker section labor needing at many places immediate wages and the sale prices having been optimized with min profits as they don't often carry a brand concept of their own..

Here sure, E-Commerce facilities come to their rescue as these remain the live stop gap arrangement between Enterprises and direct user/consumer..

The E-Commerce facilities sure are a boon to people as these alone became the real suppliers of basic needs during indefinite lockdowns imposed due to the spread of covid infection the rest playing low operations and beyond continue..

Since 2014, the Govt of India has bought out initiatives such as Digital India, Make in India, Start-up India etc. to accelerate E-Commerce growth equally encouraging MSMEs to sell their products thru' these sites..

These platforms carried transactions worth of about Rs 55 crores till end of Sept' 20. As part of Digital India initiative, the Ministry of MSME undertook numerous initiatives to digitize entire MSME system, wherein all of their offices have been digitally empowered and efforts have been made to spread awareness on benefits of digital payment solutions..

MSME businesses have unprecedented opportunity to embrace digital transformation with the support built by the current Govt..

In recent years, the rise and emergence of online markets thru' E-Commerce has boosted and had a positive impact on MSMEs. By adopting E-Commerce, MSMEs stand to gain significant advantages such as increased revenues and margins, improved markets, reach access to new markets, savings in marketing spending, customer acquisition and enhanced customer experience and helped a lot in carrying out timely business activities of certain MSMEs in spite of continuous lockdowns imposed in the country..

In conclusion, we can emphatically say that it is imperative in today's market conditions, for MSMEs and E-Commerce Platforms travel together all along both remaining as the true back bone of the Nation's growth and economic activities!

WEALTH MANAGEMENT.. WHAT'S IT LIKE ULTIMATELY?

Two youngsters approached separately on 2 occasions an elderly gentleman of wisdom for his advice on improving their finances.. 

The elderly said to the 1st youngster,

“2 young men started their Careers approximately at the same time in their life..

One invested taking reasonable risk,

• Earned wholesome,
• Travelled widely,
• Spent generously and
• Settled in life with a feeling of well spent life!

The other invested taking zero risk,

• Earned limited,
• Travelled limited,
• Spent limited and
• Settled in life with a feeling of no achievement!”

When the other young man visited him, he said,

“2 young men started their Careers approximately at the same time in their life.. 

One invested taking less risk,

• Earned handsome,
• Travelled happily,
• Spent judiciously and
• Settled in life with a well-being feeling!

The other invested taking too much risk,

• Earned easy monies,
• Travelled endlessly,
• Spent recklessly and
• Settled in life with a lost feeling!”

A young man who happened to hear to the 2 advices asked the elderly,

“Sir! How is that you gave 2 contradictory advices to them?”

The elderly remarked,

"There is a drive in every individual and it's ever wisdom to give an advice in a way that he/she

• Checks own drive,
• Streamlines it without being propelled beyond and
• Live his/her life accordingly..

My advices given are not contradictory, I just twisted the saying of the same story to suit the innate drives in the boys..

The 1st youngster having zero risk appetite and the 2nd one, high risk appetite!"

While leaving the elderly smiled and said,

"Ultimately none knows what happens with all our well laid plans!"

YES.. ONCE IN WAY, IT CLICKS!

The Customer rang up..

• “The activities are starting at 0630 PM. The time now is 0600 PM. The Supplies have not yet come!”

The Supply man replied,

• "Sir! We are on the way and we try come in time!”

The Customer was a bit annoyed. He rang up the Supervisor..

• “Your people should have been here by 0600 PM itself. They are saying that they are on the way. By chance they get delayed on the way?"

The Supervisor said,

• “Sir! No problem.. I'm coming there at 0615 PM itself and I follow up with my men!"

The Supervisor in turn rang up the Supply man, 

• ”Where are you?”

• “Sir! we are on the way and we'll be there only by 0645 PM!"

• “Ok.. Try your best to come early.. The Customer is already angry!" 

Next he rang up the Boss and explained the situation. The Boss asked,

• “Can all of you reach there by 0645 PM?”

• “That is very easy, Sir! In fact, I'll be reaching 15 mts earlier as I'm ahead in traffic!"

• “OK.. Be there at 0645 PM but tell the people there that you were waiting since 0615 PM and your men came there exactly at 0630 PM as per the Customer's wish!”

The Supervisor couldn't understand head and tail of what his Boss had said but just followed that. The Customer came to them at 0700 PM saying,

• "Is everything OK?”

They again repeated the Boss's words..

• “Good! Actually the activities start at 0730 PM but I just brought you in advance saying that it starts at 0630 PM!”

The Supervisor informed the Boss that finally everything was taken care of.. The friend with the Boss who was following all that asked,

• "Dear! How could you manage all this with such an open lie?"

The Boss smiled and said,

• "I saw the Customer going in front of our Office at 0600 PM in his vehicle. To reach his home, he takes 1hr min and that way he would be at home not earlier than 0700 PM. Without him the activities can't start. I estimated this and quickly told my folks to say that they were there in time. When the Customer reached at 0700 PM my people were already there, of course from 0630 PM and 0645 PM only..

I agree that there were many 'ifs' and 'buts' in this entire drama but I just took the calculated risk as there was almost no go there and luckily it clicked!”

OWNING AND DISOWNING IN TIME.. WHAT ARE THEY LIKE?

The parents of 4 children once bought 2 big banana special fruit bunches full of banana fruit to be ripened and kept the same in a corner in their house for consumption by the family over a period of time..

The next day morning, the children had seen this and secretly kept an eye on the bunch. And after sometime, it all started..

• First, the little one secretly took one fruit and ate it off.. 
• Seeing that, his next sibling took one and finished it.. 
• Soon the third one followed and took away one..
• The eldest too casually plucked one and consumed it.. 

Thus continued the eating each repeating his doing even though the bunch of fruit was not fully ripe. A few of the fruit was thus over by evening!

The parents noticed that after a while and quietly understood what would have happened. Instantly, they decided to bring the situation under control through an innovative plan.

They immediately called all the children, in front of them divided the whole bunch into six equal parts, kept two parts for both of them and gave away the remaining 4 parts to the 4 children saying,

• “They are yours from now on wards!” 

The children immediately became attentive and very carefully started protecting their shares. From the next day onwards, each started comparing his with that of others, consumed the fruit slowly over a period as they ripened and thus finished all. In the end, the parents gave away their portions not consumed to the children equally and made them further happy!

Knowing that, the neighborhood family remarked,

“You both have done really a good job!”

The parents replied,

“It's not just eating alone all the fruit properly in time. There are several other good things our children learnt in the process..

• They all came to know how to take care of their own..

• They developed the habit of not touching that belonged to others..

• They started competing among themselves in a healthy way for their own betterment..

• They utilized the items in good condition all along..

And 

• They remained content and happy all the time with what they got with the restlessness vanishing from their minds which was very much there before the division! 

Beyond, the last important learning here was..

• We both the parents too have learnt a valuable lesson that in future, we should start parting with certain of our saved monies equally among our children as they grow up for a cause and in their exigencies of course keeping sufficient funds for us.. 

That will truly result in the monies becoming useful for them for their growth with the responsibility of protecting those excess monies simultaneously taken off from us!”
