• I talked on and on. The wise person with me said, "I got what all you wanted to say thru' your first sentence itself!"

• I thought I made myself well known to others thru' my crystal clear one hr talk. Yes.. That was very much right. They knew me now that I am a person who doesn't care for others' feelings!

• Talk laughed at silence boasting, 'I can do wonders!' Silence smiled and did the wonders!

• I thought of walking a mile keeping off thoughts of mundane things. I ended up talking, sitting on a pile of unwanted things!

LET ME BE NEITHER THIS EXTREME NOR THAT EXTREME!

Two people were more straight forward in expressing..

"Be wise.. Extremities are never good!"

People around used to advise them..

"God will take care!"

Used to be their unique reply with a smile..

"Before God takes care, your opponent may set right things. Once damage is done, it's painful get up and stand!"

Was equally the people's caution..

On a day, certain tiff went beyond, a rowdy sheeter surfaced and the 2  were roughed up beyond. Subsequent to that, the two were recovering slowly, there were many queries..

"Where's your God now? In what way you got the help?"

"Because God had taken care, I am left at this stage!"

Were the replies of both.. Of course,

One with true humility justifying his wise doing

But

The other with pain within covering up his unwise doing!

Asserting the right way of living, on distant loud speakers Sloka 35, Chapter III of Srimad Bhagavad Gita was heard being recited melodiously with the meaning explained in parallel..

'Shreyan swadharmo vigunah paradharmaat swanusshthitaat
Swadharme nidhanam shreyah paradharmo bhayaavahah.'

'Ever safe is one’s own duty than the duty of another even well discharged. Better is even death in one’s own duty than the duty of another full of fear!'

Ultimately meaning.. 

One should repeatedly check his/her level of stamina and endurance to withstand a tough situation, before firming up on asserting and facing the same!

LEARNING AND TELLING.. WHAT ARE THEY IN OUR LIFE?

"I am learning!"

The child of 5 yrs said with sparkling eyes..

"I need to learn a lot. Every one says!"

The preteens one said with an unknown enthusiasm..

"I am learning and learning.. When will this end?"

The youth in teens queried..

"I want to tell something.  None are listening!"

The young person of mid 20s said..

"I tell.. Few listen; many look at me saying, 'Who is this one to tell me?"

The person of early 30s lamented..

"I've to tell people next to me who are ready to listen.  Let me leave the ones who don't listen!"

The one in late 30s firmed up.. 

"Now days, I tell, many listen.. To few, I listen!"

The person of mid 40s beamed saying..

"Every one is next to me with their own queries. I need to prepare for some!"

The one in early 50s said..

"All are around me with their questions. I don't have time to tell all. Some, I skip.. Let them learn by themselves or ask others!"

The person of late 50s affirmed..

"I am now reference for everyone and everything. Endless questions around!"

The one having 6 months to retire said..

"Lots of questions to me.. No less work!"

The retired person justified saying..

"Now a days, people are not referring that much to me. One way, good.. I need to relax!"

The one in late 60s smiled and said..

"There's a lot to tell.. But tapered down energies.. Let me smile and leave many other than answering the essential ones!"

The person of mid 70s said in a soft tone..

Beyond..

Nod.. Nod.. Nod almost to everything!

SOFT HIT BACK!"

The other one said assertively..

"Agreed.. That person is of interfering nature. Forever ready to poke into others' affairs. You know? I lure him with peanuts which are almost free from my end, That's it.. Next moment, he keeps quiet. Sometimes one needs that type of 

SMART HIT BACK!"

The 3rd one said aggressively..

We 3 have our plans here.. What's yours, in respect of him as you interact with him?"

All asked the 4th one..

"No doubt.. That person is of interfering nature. Forever ready to poke into others' affairs. You know? I use a mixture of all methods you brought out and keeps the person in check temporarily..

Beyond, I question myself.. Why at all I am in interaction with such person.. That interaction may have it's own requirement but I see that requirement is minimized from my end as much and thus move on in life forever ready to arrive at a

It's ruthlessness.. 

• Hard working people have no time to relax and express. Easy going one are left with plenty of time making themselves cling on to issues that are least important..

• Knowledgeable people many times are behind the less knowledgeable ones who keep them under their grip thru' the tentacles of their own ignorance..

• Good people often go silent where not so good ones talk volumes and volumes..

• Honest people are the ones behind all the show going on around; insincere ones claim all that non stop..

• Humble people take many blames without reacting; Haughty people react to single questioning..

• Silent people console and stay with the suffering ones in tough situations; the talking ones make noise with lip sympathy and leave at the earliest..

• Cheerful people cheer up their surroundings in no time; the grumpy ones dump their problems making surroundings gloomy in less than that time..

• Helping people extend a firm hand and try pulling out the affected from real difficulty; non helping ones boast themselves as helping max but vanish from scene the earliest..

• Kind people talk little but do max worthy; unkind ones talk on and on non stop doing no great worth..

• Broad minded people know what Oneness means and try grouping many together; narrow minded ones talk volumes on Oneness constantly dividing people, the liked and the disliked!

My oft repeated story of Pride and Humility:

Pride lured me,

I yielded, moved onto the top of mountain..

Humility next to me became helpless..

"Throw that one out; you are the Hero!"

Pride said aloud..

Laughing treble aloud, I threw humility down the mountain..

"I am always at your service. Don't forget!"

Humility said before leaving me..

Life moved on leaps and bounds..

My pride made me play endless vicious games for a while but 

Soon on a doom's day threw me down from the same mountain mercilessly..

I thought, I am gone once for all but 

Humility staying at the bottom of the mountain made me land softly on a cushion and subsequently consoled me saying,

"Knowing this inevitable happening well in advance, I took all the care needed for you. You are safe!"

"Pride goes before fall; humility is a virtue. Leave pride and embrace humility, you sure rise as human being in life!"

The person of wisdom was heard advising from distance!

Once, the eternal enemies of human being pride, greed, jealousy, anger, desire had a bitter fight among themselves..

"You don't know.. I am No 1 in these activities. I catch human being, the person in no time over rules every one!"

Said pride with a wink..

"I am that No1 in toppling human beings from whatever discipline they adhere to. I lure humans to root!"

Said greed mischievously..

"You can only topple human being but the same human burns within if I overpower the person!"

Boasted jealousy..

"That's ever less.. If I spread my tentacles over human being, the person becomes mad next moment and such a mad person can do worst damage around!"

Said anger fuming..

"If one is caught with powers of all of you, with my power the person treads wrong path within seconds. This is much worse damage to human being's character!"

Asserted desire..

"Ok, challenge.. We one by one influence human being and let us see how the person reacts.  The taste of pudding is in eating, what else you need?"

Deciding thus the 5 enemies of human tried one at a time to influence the person next but that person was silent and unchanged..

They became totally clueless..

"That is my power. This human being is presently influenced by me in the negative way and the person is feeling life is meaningless at this moment.  The glitter and glamour of the world soon over takes the person again thru' my influence and then alone you all can play your games on the person. So, I am the King Pin behind all those dramas of yours.. Got it?"

Said delusion from behind with a mischievous smile!

 Thoughts while paying first Installment of loan:

• "It's not mine.. I'll diligently, honestly and systematically with all care pay back the loan taken in installments with a 'Thank You' note..

After all, it's the other person's sacred money!"

Thoughts while paying next Installment:

• "It's not mine.. I'll diligently, honestly and systematically pay back the loan taken in installments with a 'Thank You' note!"

Thoughts while paying subsequent Installments:

• "Mine or not.. I'll diligently, honestly and systematically pay back the loan taken in installments!"

• "Mine or not.. I'll diligently and systematically pay back the loan taken in installments!"

• "Ok.. I'll systematically return in installments!"

• "Ok.. Ok.. How many more installments are left?"

• "Let me see.. My problem continues. Let me pay now only the last month's skipped installment!"

PSEUDO PHILOSOPHY.. WHAT'S IT AT TIMES?

"The Great Personality used to follow 4 disciplines in His life. Out of those 4, I could easily follow one discipline. One more discipline I tried for 3 months and could follow that. Next one discipline, I am doing my best and am sure in 6 months, I can establish in that..

That way, 3 disciplines will be on my finger tips soon!"

I firmed up as I was on my morning walk..

"Nice to hear!"

Some one was heard saying from behind. I looked back. A black entity was seen looking at me continue saying..

"You know that person in the street next to yours. He follows all the 4 disciplines of the Great Personality!"

"4? How can he do that? No.. I can't allow that.. Ok.. Be seeing.. I'll.... Ok?"

"Great.. I am with you for any help. Call me at any time!"

Saying thus the black entity moved on..

I finished my walk and was returning home with the disciplines poking my head when a White Entity was seen going a little away from me..

"Hey.. You were with me sometime back but you changed clothes so fast and going away from me as if I can't recognize you?"

I queried anxiously..

"Sorry, I'm not the black entity whom you met. I'm the white one filled with 6 Positive Qualities of human being Viz.,

Disinterest, Calmness, Generosity, Clarity, Humility and Contentment..

As you have thrown away these 6 Qualities mercilessly, I am moving away from you leaving you to the black one filled with 6 negative qualities of human being Viz.,

Desire, Anger, Greed, Delusion, Pride and Jealousy!"

In distance, an inquisitive person was heard asking the Knowledgable One,

"Sir! What is Pseudo philosophy?"

POST 27 - NO DOUBT, LIFE BEGINS AT 40! #WriteAPageADay

"Agreed..The saying goes..

'Life begins at 40!'

And I concur with that in general as there is some meaning to this saying but not always. At times, I've seen people between 30 and 40 too talking/expressing like people of 50s and above. Seen in such a context, the saying is not that widely correct..

You know.. When I discussed this topic with one of my known very senior citizen, what he said in that context?

'Dear! What you said may be true for some people when they were about to reach 40 say from 37 and above onwards roughly exceptions extending to few years below. But all such cases may not be really out of true maturity but out of something lacking of that!'

I am sure there is something wrong with this senior to say so. At late 60s, he assesses people with him and talks thus. I don't know how people call him a highly matured person. It's not right to think that being senior, he knows everything. Better, we cross check sometimes on what he talks..

I tell you there can't be such great age bar in all these and the statement said is just a generalized statement. For some, maturity can sure come at a young age itself and some may not get that concept even at 50 and above. That's my final assessment!"

Thus was talking a gentleman of early 30s..

Heard later in a private conversation of some of the very senior citizens..

"That person of early 30s, is really a bit insensitive and lacks maturity. For everything almost, he comes forward and says he knows. Knowing is okay and that's not that great, but

When to talk,
Where to talk and most importantly

knowing well that a person of more of his age can't have lesser maturity even if the person had chosen to be dumb in dealing with many issues of life and talking in front of those ages and the issues irrelevant to that age

Itself shows that he is immature the other way and he needs lots of advising not to open his talk thus in certain places!"
