Y - THE STORY OF YESTERDAY! A2Z 2026

"Yesterday is experience, tomorrow is planning, today is living!"

Said the Wise Person..

"Forget yesterday, forget tomorrow, enjoy today!"

Screamed the Enjoyer..

"Yesterday comes after today, only in dictionary.. In life, yesterday stands proof of your doings!"

Asserted the Mentor..

"Yesterday is full of memories. Take the required and leave the rest!"

Said the Introvert..

"Don't feel so proud. when time comes, you are going to be me only!"

Said Yesterday to Today..

"Forget yesterday.. Tell me your plan of action for today!"

The Boss queried..

"You should have planned all this yesterday itself!"

The dad commented.. 

"Dad, at 00:00:00 hrs, 23:59:59.999 hrs.. is yesterday or today?"

The Child of 7 yrs asked..

"Yesterday night, I had a strange dream!"

Saying thus, the Story Teller began his story..

"You.. today and tomorrow, both of you sure merge with me when time comes!" 

Said yesterday..

"Some of my yesterdays were wise; some were foolish; it's all because of my today only!"

Someone was heard saying..

"I relaxed thinking that today is eternal. I never noticed old today merging with yesterday and new today rising to that place!'

Said the Elderly Person..

"Yesterday, there was a slip in my duty. Today, I decided to take care there and accordingly, I did the required!"

I thought.. 

My Consciousness reminded me.. "That slip is continuing!"

"Oh! I forgot.. Yesterday's duty too, I will complete.. OK.. done!"

I said..

My Consciousness reminded again.. 

"That Slip is still continuing!"

"What else?" 

I asked..

"Compensate for the loss incurred by others for not doing your yesterday's duty yesterday itself!"

I said 'Ok', looked at the compensation and did that..

"Hereafter, remember slippage of duty, ever is associated with compensation and that compensation rises exponentially with postponing on and on..

Better ever safe to do duty in time..

You need to answer none!"

Said my Consciousness.. 

"Yesterday's noble story of yours is today's glory of yours; know that and constantly be on the 

Right Path!"

Saying thus, the Lady Advisor closed the class for the day!

Silence was all round..

"Good Discipline!"

The Inner Voice said..

Time moved on..

"From today, I decided to do activities that involve only 80% of my 'self!'"

Affirmed that person..

God Smiled..

"Very Good Discipline!"

The Inner Voice appreciated..

Time moved on with cheers..

"From today, I decided to do activities that involve only 70% of my 'self!'"

Confirmed that person.. 

God Smiled again..

"Better Discipline!"

The Inner Voice appreciated again..

Time moved on joyously..

"From today, I decided to do activities that involve only 60% of my 'self!'"

Confidently said that person..

God smiled and Blessed the individual..

"Much better Discipline!"

The Inner Voice was in all praise..

Time moved on jumping..

"From today, I decided to do activities that involve only half of my 'self!'"

Said that person reaching the brim.. 

God Smiled and Blessed the individual again..

"The Valuable Discipline!"

The Inner Voice was in endless praise..

Time moved on dancing..

"From today, I decided to do activities that involve only 45% of my 'self!'"

Asserted that person beyond..

God remained silent and Satan looked at the individual..

"Average Discipline!"

The Inner Voice said..

Time moved on carefully..

"From today, I decided to do activities that involve only 40% of my 'self!'"

Doubly asserted that person..

Satan moved towards the individual..

"Not a good Discipline!"

The Inner Voice cautioned..

Time moved on in steps..

"From today, I decided to do activities that involve only 35% of my 'self!'"

Said that person in a thundering tone..

Satan embraced the individual..

"Dangerous Discipline!"

The Inner Voice warned..

Time moved on limping..

"From today, I decided to do activities that involve only one third of my 'self!'"

Saying, sky rocketed that person..

Satan embraced the individual tight laughing aloud endlessly..

The Inner Voice became Voiceless..

Time went into total confusion! 

Right at that moment, on the distant loud speakers  

- Sloka 35, Chapter III, Srimad Bhagavad Gita

was heard being recited melodiously with the meaning explained in parallel..

'Shreyan swadharmo vigunah paradharmaat swanusshthitaat
Swadharme nidhanam shreyah paradharmo bhayaavahah.'

'Ever safe is one’s own duty than the duty of another even well discharged. Better is even death in one’s own duty than the duty of another full of fear!'

A King decided and said,

"I'll eradicate poverty in my kingdom!"

The wise Minister said,

"Decision of eradication of anything in a system, creates indirect generation of that thing!"

The King corrected his decision and said,

"I'll reduce poverty in my kingdom!"

The wise Minister said,

"Decision of reducing anything in a system, creates indirect corruption in the system!"

The King further corrected his decision and said,

"I'll create more jobs around for the poor!"

The wise Minister said,

"Creating more jobs around drains out the precious wealth of the Exchequer!"

"Then, what is the way of doing betterment to my people?"

The King asked impatiently..

The Wise Minister smiled and said,

"Your Highness should only advise the poor constantly thru' all the Channels available to

Streamline their thoughts,

Undertake pains,

Request the rich for work,

Value that at decent level,

Indicate wages expected,

Validate the Offer given and

Exist thus by doing that work and taking returns in tune with Nature..

Q - THE QUALITY LIFE.. WHAT IT'S LIKE? A2Z 2026

Let my Family be taken care out of the expression of inbuilt self interest within me but 

Let the rights of the Family Members be always honored through a dispassionate selfless attitude..

Let my Profession be pursued out of a deep self interested drive within me to express in a unique way but 

Let the hard Work done in connection with that be purely on the basis of a selfless attitude alone..

Let taking caring of the next person to me to a level my status expects me to do in the situation be at the back of selflessness alone..

Let my indulgence be minimum in Worldly Enjoyments to requirement of the thrust within me but

Let the Artistic Quality in me be definitely out of a deep rooted self expression but anything beyond that be avoided through a selfless attitude for greater good..

Let the Environment be modified to the minimum extent for the self expression of mine with all ease but beyond that for all other luxuries, let me say no to this self interest and look at the aspects of Environment Preservation more selflessly in the greater interests of all..

Let me Pray to God out of the deep self expression within me which is part of my own culture and brought up but when it comes to the Worship carried out by the person next to me, let me honor the same equally through a selfless behavior..

Let this balance in my life be ever maintained thus between the 

Self Expressive Tendency 

(which I naturally love to do)

(which in general is good for me)

what is being Truly Selfless is

totally unknown to me at this moment

when that moment dawns on me too

One said in a convincing tone..

Ignorance reduced dancing pace. Truth appeared on the scene..

One said in a cool tone..

Ignorance stood still. Truth moved closer to the person..

Ignorance watched.. Truth smiled..

Thus moves on and on 

Truth in human being 

With ignorance tapering off non stop

And that touches

MEDITATES 

Endlessly

FOR THE GOOD OF THE WORLD!

THE 7 COLORS OF LIFE!

That day evening as I was on my usual stroll in my park and looked at sky in the East direction,

'The 7 Colored Beautiful Rainbow' 

Appeared in front of me uplifting my mood. As I continued looking at the Rainbow in front of me, the 7 colors of the 

The Master Piece of Nature

One by one were seen saying something. As I paid attention to their sweet talk, I could distinctly hear,

The Violet color saying,  

"Do you know? I symbolize wisdom, individuality and introspection qualities of human being!"

Indigo asserting, 

"Yes.. I symbolize devotion, intuition and justice qualities in human being!"

Blue proclaiming, 

"Sure.. I symbolize trust, loyalty and divinity qualities of human being!"

Green expressing, 

"Yes.. I symbolize calm, agreeable and tolerance qualities in human being!"

Yellow affirming, 

"Yes.. I symbolize happiness, glory and positivity qualities of human being!"

Orange saying, 

"True.. I symbolize energy, enthusiasm and warmth qualities of human being!"

And

Red beaming saying, "Sure.. I symbolize courage, martyrs and sacrifice qualities in human being!"

And beyond, they were saying in chorus,

"We 7 together symbolize,

Cleanliness, purity and Peace 

With human being!"

As the 7 beautiful colors were expressing themselves fully thus, 

The White color

Staying a bit away smiled at me

And

Wished me 

All the Best in my life!

POST 19 - THE ONLY WAY AMIDST CRISIS! #WriteAPageADay

A gentleman of mid forties was a person of hectic activities. He never used to rest for a while but continuously remained busy with many, many activities surrounding him on and on.. 

Along with the busy schedules, he was conctantly a worried person too..

“I don’t know how to handle so many works thrust on me at a time. All these works, need lots of attention and energies. You have to keep a look out everywhere and every moment. Finally, no one knows in which direction the results would be coming.. 

I am totally in a fix and feel that I am squarely caught at this stage. I can neither say 'No' to these nor simply keep quite without bothering in that direction. Now, I understand why people’s tensions are multiplied in mid age!”

Thus he was expressing his anxieties to an elderly well-wisher with him who was a person of understanding and advisor among the known circles..

The well-wisher listening to him all the while, smiled and said, 

“My dear! I understand your anxiety. Truly speaking, neither getting into the issues in front of you was your make nor getting out of the issues as planned is your outlook.. 

You have done no mistake here and the happenings too require no permission from you before they happen that way!  Have patience, keep cool and take off the pressure on you at this moment..”

He paused for a while and continued.. 

"But, I just want to ask you a question at this juncture. How is that you have totally forgotten the presence of The All Powerful behind these happenings precipitating towards an end result? 

The Will of Lord alone ultimately prevails in every inch of these. God alone Steers all the Sails of our Ships in the midst of the Ocean of life where many times it is the calm weather but a few times, the rough one too.. 

But where our Prayers are sincere, there the Almighty will be with us and all good will definitely come through that single action at the end of the day. And this alone is the greatest strength of ours for ever in our lives!"

While leaving, the well-wisher just patted him and said,

“But, dear! Don’t forget that along with the Prayer, we should be doing the so called the 'duties' with us in the best way known to us..

The Lord before hand always expects us be doing these duties with all sincerity when we knock at the Lord's door and here God never allows at anytime, a concession for willful non-doing!

POST 17 -THE SLOW POISON SURE HAD ITS FIRM ROOTS! #WriteAPageADay

• “This is the sacred duty I have taken up in my life. Thru' this work, a great service is done to the humanity. God has truly given me this golden opportunity in my life. I' ll do my best here. Later in my life I sure have to answer the Almighty on this take care!”

Was the proud proclamation of the then man of thirties..

• “These monies involved in the task are the sacred ones. It is said that in all these instances, one is a Trusty and one should work as a Manager to the Trust. I’ll maintain all the details of spending towards development. The records truly speak at any time!” 

Was his assertion at forties..

• “Yes! it looks, spending these monies may not be that much advisable. But how about the chances of giving better life to those involved? The development is at crucial stage. Let me spend in all directions. One or two may go waste but it's still worth the trial. That’s where the true development lies!” 

Was the talk in his fifties..

• “People may talk.. But to do this work, I know how much we have to struggle. Some times, my own monies are spent away because there is no point in waiting. Plus or minus, the welfare activities should go on forever. That’s the aim!” 

Was his defensive attitude in late fifties..

• “I'm retired. I said, my task is over and the required is done. But you know.. They expect me to look after some of special tasks myself only. Actually, I've no energies in that direction. Since I was asked, I can’t say ‘NO..'

• I just do the works from now onwards for a reduced salary. That's very much needed at this stage for my living as I don't have regular income from now onwards. More than that, I leave everything.. Others too can easily handle all these works well!”

Was the final soft talk of the fully grey haired man at the back of a broad smile!

Yes.. Some of the welfare activities were truly done.. The beneficiaries, the young adults of twenties were well placed in their life and society.. Really, well done..

But when carefully looked at the development taken place and the total cost of development incurred over all those years, there was a mismatch and the cost appeared to be more even though all that was justified towards the monies forcibly spent during the struggle and chance taking..

And the big figures in the accounts of the retired man were discretely smiling behind all that justification!

INDEPENDENT BLOGGING.. WHAT'S IT LIKE?

Truth known is both unchangeable as well as changeable..

The change or no change depends on the time element which ever remains dynamic and never rests even for infinitesimal time..

The Great Saint Proclaimed,

'Truth is as hard as stone equally as soft as butter!'

Whenever the Great Personalities proclaim something, it's out of a Great Love for humanity they say that..

Myself, the ordinary personality, is at infinite distance away from the Original Truth and as such I can't 100% understand why the Great Saints say so..

But that never keeps me off from the Sacred Probing ever next to me which the Great Men and Women of the world ever insisted one to do..

As I start doing that Probing into all that around me, I'll have my own perceptions of the Original Truth known to me as relative truth..

Thru' that relative truth alone I'd be communicating with the world and every individual next to me too would be doing similar Probing as well as communicating..

Here, there is often clash of ideals of people and when that happens, there is a desire in me to win over the other person but

If I really firm up, I can sure restrain my saying and accept what the other person says at his/her own level..

When I start doing that, I sure experience what the Great Saint said.. Viz.,

Accepting whole heartedly what the other person says gently correcting him/her if possible with all softness (simile used is soft butter)

But without fail

Sticking endlessly to Truth I perceive in my actions with all firmness (simile used is hard rock)..

Independent Blogs for ever talk on these lines of seeing Truth, so to say Relative Truth, as perceived by the Writer/Blogger and the related good will be done to the humanity and life in general..

Seen thus, the tempo of my writing should go on as a Blogger but I should ever be ready to change that I perceive endlessly as my understanding of Truth is dynamic in this life and moves up and up endlessly; never down at any point of time in this life, the Original Truth remaining ever

A Reference to me alone..

Another example set by the Great Personality in this context goes in this direction..

When confronted with rowdy elements, He hid Himself in the Police Control Room and subsequently on the advice of the Chief there escaped in disguise in front of the protesters..

Making it evident that protecting oneself becomes the primary duty and in that context anything done stands the right!

But the same Personality made it clear subsequent to the incident saying,

• "I don't know why I did that way at that point of time but this moment left to me, I am ready to surrender to my protesters and face their wrath rather than escape discretely!"

Making once again clear that none should act less when truly imbibed with an Inner Strength to face certain threat!

POST 7 - NEXT DAY WORRIES? THE SURE SOLUTION ON HAND! #WriteAPageADay

A man of 55 mused aloud..

“This Work Arena is a tricky environment. I may be a king as on date but not forever as all these

• Powers,
• Facilities and 
• Recognition 

with me today will be taken away at one stroke on the day I retire at 60 and I'll straight away be shown 'Exit' without any consideration for my feelings. Bereft of all these, I sure will have a small life with emptiness all round!

Let me be wise and implement the best strategy from now onwards so that all these continue with me if not at the present level at a lesser level..

That strategy is..

Slowly start being 'extra good' with many VIPs around especially those that would sure be coming to power in next 5 years. Those people will surely give me a job of Consultancy in the Organization for the next 5 yrs with certain indirect powers too..

Thus I'll be active again, there would be no despair on that fateful day of completing 60 and

That day and the next day would remain the same for me!

The wise man next to him remarked..

"Okay, agreed..

But what are you on the next day to your 65th year?

Dear! 

We can never escape from this emptiness of nothing to do in life by trying to avoid it.. 

Equally, we are not evolved enough to face that emptiness directly too.. 

The right way here for normal people like us is to constantly involve alone. But this involving is very much a double edged sword..

Involve with an accumulating attitude gaining max everywhere, you ultimately lose yourself to the emptiness in life 

But

Involve with a helping attitude losing a bit everywhere, you ultimately gain yourself the peace in life!

Start following the second discipline in your work environment as well as in your life, you soon understand that all these

• Powers,
• Facilities and 
• Recognition 

Are given to you not to

• Rule
• Gain and
• Feel Proud

But to

• Instill discipline
• Get the work done and
• Improve the quality of life around..

If you start following that discipline saying no to all the self interested strategies which your mind is proposing presently,

• All the people
• All the time
• All with a helping hand

would be with you and with that life with you, not those isolated days at 60 or 65 alone but each and everyday would be the same filled with

Poise, Contentment and Peace!"

On a day 4 Expert Groups visited a farmer..

The Expert Group1 requested him to make use of their skills and remain happy. The farmer said,

"I'm happy with my dancing paddy fields and singing birds around me. No extra thing I need to be happy!" 

The Expert Group2 requested him to make use of their skills and remain happy. The farmer said,

The Expert Group4 requested him to make use of their skills and remain happy. The farmer said,

"I'm happy with my own understanding of life as is around me. No extra thing I need to be happy!"

All became silent. When asked why so, one of them replied..

"Unless you become happy with our skills and share your 'Precious Produce' with us, all our learnings become nothing when our stomachs growl!"

A 'Great Reminder' in my so called 'Busy Life' where in a few times I would be trying to tie firm knots between elbows and knees!

2 PM was the time for cleaning the rest room area as per schedule and the In-Charge requested people in urgency to walk in and finish their activity and rest in the queue to wait for 15 minutes.

A few walked in and finished their activity and the rest decided to wait. The In-Charge was about to close the gate when a man came forward and said,

“Hi, I am on an urgent job and have to catch my bus. I'll give you some cash. Will you allow me in?”

The In-Charge with a smile locked the front gate saying,

“Don’t worry.. I know the Bus Operator. He'll stop the bus for you. I promise!"

Exactly after 15 minutes, he opened the gates with a broad smile and welcomed the people waiting. As they started moving in, he jokingly asked the man who was ready to offer him money,

“Will you give me the money now?”

Someone remarked in the queue,

“Why not? Ten times of that, tens of us in the queue will give you for the Greatest Service you are doing to us!” 

(Based on my personal experience when in abroad)

Another 'Great Reminder' in my so called 'Busy Life' where in a few times I would be trying to appear the best at the cost of certain uncleanliness left behind!

Saying, human being expanded endlessly..

"Limit yourself. You are not truly that free as you think!"

The Inner Voice cautioned..

"What bondage do I have? None can stop me from expressing my freedom!"

Human being replied..

"What about your attachments?  Are you free from them?"

"I love my attachments!"
