A man of 55 mused aloud..

“This Work Arena is a tricky environment. I may be a king as on date but not forever as all these

• Powers,
• Facilities and 
• Recognition 

with me today will be taken away at one stroke on the day I retire at 60 and I'll straight away be shown 'Exit' without any consideration for my feelings. Bereft of all these, I sure will have a small life with emptiness all round!

Let me be wise and implement the best strategy from now onwards so that all these continue with me if not at the present level at a lesser level..

That strategy is..

Slowly start being 'extra good' with many VIPs around especially those that would sure be coming to power in next 5 years. Those people will surely give me a job of Consultancy in the Organization for the next 5 yrs with certain indirect powers too..

Thus I'll be active again, there would be no despair on that fateful day of completing 60 and

That day and the next day would remain the same for me!

The wise man next to him remarked..

"Okay, agreed..

But what are you on the next day to your 65th year?

Dear! 

We can never escape from this emptiness of nothing to do in life by trying to avoid it.. 

Equally, we are not evolved enough to face that emptiness directly too.. 

The right way here for normal people like us is to constantly involve alone. But this involving is very much a double edged sword..

Involve with an accumulating attitude gaining max everywhere, you ultimately lose yourself to the emptiness in life 

But

Involve with a helping attitude losing a bit everywhere, you ultimately gain yourself the peace in life!

Start following the second discipline in your work environment as well as in your life, you soon understand that all these

• Powers,
• Facilities and 
• Recognition 

Are given to you not to

• Rule
• Gain and
• Feel Proud

But to

• Instill discipline
• Get the work done and
• Improve the quality of life around..

If you start following that discipline saying no to all the self interested strategies which your mind is proposing presently,

• All the people
• All the time
• All with a helping hand

would be with you and with that life with you, not those isolated days at 60 or 65 alone but each and everyday would be the same filled with

Poise, Contentment and Peace!"
