Once, the eternal enemies of human being pride, greed, jealousy, anger, desire had a bitter fight among themselves..

"You don't know.. I am No 1 in these activities. I catch human being, the person in no time over rules every one!"

Said pride with a wink..

"I am that No1 in toppling human beings from whatever discipline they adhere to. I lure humans to root!"

Said greed mischievously..

"You can only topple human being but the same human burns within if I overpower the person!"

Boasted jealousy..

"That's ever less.. If I spread my tentacles over human being, the person becomes mad next moment and such a mad person can do worst damage around!"

Said anger fuming..

"If one is caught with powers of all of you, with my power the person treads wrong path within seconds. This is much worse damage to human being's character!"

Asserted desire..

"Ok, challenge.. We one by one influence human being and let us see how the person reacts.  The taste of pudding is in eating, what else you need?"

Deciding thus the 5 enemies of human tried one at a time to influence the person next but that person was silent and unchanged..

They became totally clueless..

"That is my power. This human being is presently influenced by me in the negative way and the person is feeling life is meaningless at this moment.  The glitter and glamour of the world soon over takes the person again thru' my influence and then alone you all can play your games on the person. So, I am the King Pin behind all those dramas of yours.. Got it?"

Said delusion from behind with a mischievous smile!

HAPPY NEW YEAR.. A MEANING TO 'TRUE UPLIFT' IN LIFE!

My hatred shot up to skies..

"This person is too much. Right this moment, I am writing him off from the list of my people. Unfit to be in my list!" 

Angrily, I firmed up..

My Consciousness gently queried,

"IS IT RIGHT?"

"YES!"

I screamed at the top of my voice..

Time passed..

"Ok.. A small change. He'll be in the list but I'll not interact with him for rest of my life!"

I modified my decision still fuming..

My Consciousness gently queried,

"IS IT RIGHT?"

"WHY NOT?"

I shouted aloud..

Time passed..

"Ok.. He is with me and so I need to interact with him. But it'll be just minimum from now!"

I modified my decision again as my anger came down a bit..

My Consciousness gently queried,

"IS IT RIGHT?"

"WHAT ELSE IS RIGHT HERE?"

I questioned back sarcastically..

Time passed..

"Ok.. He is with me and I can't just get away. Let me interact to the required level here from now and be done with it!"

I modified my decision once again..

My Consciousness gently queried..

"IS IT RIGHT?"

"AM I WRONG?"

I queried back as by then I became cool..

Time passed..

"Ok.. Ok.. From now onwards, I interact as per the requirement of the person as well as my requirement. This is final from my end!"

I modified my decision 4th time.

My Consciousness remained silent..

There was an Instant Message from Skies..

"This is not final but just the beginning of your

RIGHT LIVING..

If this discipline of yours goes non stop as time passes, you continuously lessening your requirement but continue interacting as per the requirement of the other person

That alone lays foundation for

TRUE UPLIFT IN YOUR LIFE!"

MY DHARMA AS AN ORDINARY INDIVIDUAL.. WHAT'S IT LIKE TRULY?

• "This life is worth living with right spirit, nothing less. I'll expand and involve, 100% in my life!"

Asserted one person equally with a doubt seen on his face whether his assertion was in order..

• "No doubt, this life is worth living with right spirit but it's the other way for me. I'll control and contain, 100% in my life!"

Asserted the 2nd person too equally with a doubt on his face whether his assertion would be possible..

• "Agreed, this life is worth living with right spirit. I'll expand and involve 75% and control and contain just 25% in my life!"

Asserted the 3d person also with pride seen on his face that he planned to do something in the direction of the Right..

• "Sure, this life is worth living with right spirit, nothing less. But the other way for me here is, I'll expand and involve just 25% but control and contain max 75% of my life!"

Asserted the 4th person again equally with pride seen on his face that he planned to do max in the direction of the Right..

• "Yes.. This life is worth living with right spirit nothing less. Here, I need to involve 50% and equally contain remaining 50%, as both types of activities together define my life on earth at this point of time..

• Beyond, it is wait and watch for me and out of my own free will if I can do, I'll reduce my involvement and contain myself more in line with my Dharma!"

Said the 5th person with a never fading smile!

CHARITY.. AT TIMES WHAT'S IT LIKE?

He was in market area..

"I need items 1,2 and 3. I don't want to go to costly shops selling these items as they invariably charge more. I see the same items with the person sitting at the end of the Market on ground. This person definitely sells it cheap!"

He thought thus and walked to the end of the Market and went near to the small seller sitting on ground and queried..

"I need these 3 items 1,2,3. At what price you give them each?"

"Ok..Saheb.. Take these.. The price of item 1 is.... item 2 is.... and item 3 is.... Please pay me..... for the 3!"

"Can you make it less?"

"Saheb! I am a poor seller and I am giving for the least price.  My profit margin is small!"

"Can you reduce the price?"

"Sir! It's difficult for me to sell at that price!"

"But I want for that price only.  Else leave it, I go to the other sellers!"

"No, Saheb.. Don't go.. Ok.. Take it.. Give me that amount!"

The person gave the bargained amount to the seller and moved on with the items..

On the way, he found a deprived man..

"Let me add the bargained amount to my usual daily charity and let me give that money to this man. God, Bless me!"

Saying thus, he moved on for the planned action..

God remained silent!

A school child was seen asking her dad,

"Dad, what's the meaning of the Proverb..

THE ENDLESS STORY!

The person decided..

"I don't want.. I say, I don't want.. Not at all.. Whatever the situation may lure me.. I said, don't want.. Yes!"

In some time.. 

"What? Is there a benefit? Ok.. Got it.. But still.. It's all right.. You are pressurizing so much.. I go for it!"

The person said in a soft tone..

That's how desire prompts human being..

The person decided..

"I'll call my people 3 times.  If they respond, it's nice else I keep quite!"

He called 3 times and none responded..

"See, 3 times I called.. They didn't respond.. What type of people I have?"

The person fumed..

That's how anger topples down human being..

The person decided..

"It's a small amount and even if one says I shouldn't go for it as I am not eligible to receive it, it does no harm to my personality!"

The time came, a similar situation was in front..

"Is there any money here, I got last time for similar work?"

The person thought within..

That's how greed lures human being..

"Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is in distance, today is very much in front.. Work, have money, Expand and enjoy.. Nothing else is worth doing in this life!"

The person screamed..

That's how illusion works in human being..

The person decided..

"I remain calm even if  these people praise me on and on.. It's that simple!"

Next time,

"Guess, they are waiting to praise me this time more. Let me go there in time. Other works can wait!"

The person expected..

That's how pride rules human being..

The person decided,

"I don't bother for the result. Let me take what comes!"

The result came and he was 3rd..

"I did more than last time. But this time they put me as 3rd..

What extra these 2 great people of 1st and 2nd have done?  Sheer nonsense!"

The person murmured aloud..

That's how jealousy strikes human being..

SURE, THE GOOD SPIRIT GAVE WITHOUT ASKING!

That day in early morning hrs being a holiday, the gentleman decided to spend sometime doing gardening in his backyard. Accordingly, as he stepped out, he found a mysterious box.. 

Instantly, he was astonished but quickly took care of it, brought it inside and kept it on his table. Initially he was reluctant to open the box but curiosity in no time overruled him and closing doors, he offered a Prayer to God, held the box in his left hand and slowly opened it with right..

"I'm here to satisfy one boon of yours!"

Saying, the Good Spirit appeared in front of him..

Instantly his mind lured him.. 

"Ask something!"

But his Consciousness clarified,

"Anything you get without working for it, is never yours!"

The Good Spirit was looking at him..

His dilemma continued between 'Ask' or 'Not Ask' for a while but soon 'Not Ask' won..

"I am provided with many by the Grace of God. If I ask something, that remains a free entity with me. I should work and earn only, if I want anything!"

Firming up thus, he closed the box double firmly..

Strangely the next moment, he found one Entity was given to him by the Good Spirit in spite of not asking..

INSTANT PEACE OF MIND!

SWEET TIME!

The Coffee Shop had few customers. The gentleman sat in one of the seats and was waiting for family who went for shopping to return..

"Coffee is costly here.  When my family returns, we'll have it at.... which is cheaper!"

He thought.. 

Half hr passed. The Coffee Shop became empty with nil customers. The gentleman felt uneasy feeling within,

"The Coffee Shop is empty. I am the only person sitting here. The person at the Counter may expect me place order.  Better I get up and walk few rounds and by that time the shop may get some customers!"

He thus decided, got up from there and made few rounds for 15 mts. On the last round he found few customers stepped into the shop. The gentleman felt comfortable and once again sat in a corner of the Coffee Shop..

Half hr passed. The customers started pouring in non stop. Soon all seats were full. The gentleman again felt uneasy..

"The Coffee Shop is full now. If one more customer steps in he/she will have no seat.  Better I get up and walk few rounds and by that time few customers may leave!"

He thus decided, got up from there and made  few rounds for 15 mts. On the last round he found few customers stepped out of the shop. The gentleman felt comfortable and once again sat in a corner of the shop..

Half hr passed. The customers poured in non stop. Soon all seats were nearing full. The gentleman, instead of feeling uneasy at that point of time, felt great ease, called the family on phone and relaxed beyond waiting for the family as it was..

COFFEE TIME!!!

SURE MONEY MATTERS!

3 persons on a day, visited the near by Ashram, bowed to the Head of the Ashram and queried on the best way of dealing with one's finances..

The Head smiled and said,

"Suppose I give you some finances, how do you deal with them?"

The 1st person said,

"I spend necessary, give in charity the pre planned percentage and save the remaining!"

The 2nd one said,

"I spend necessary, save necessary and give in charity the remaining!"

The 3rd one said,

"I spend necessary, save necessary, try giving in charity the preplanned percentage if available adding back to savings the left out or give the remaining only to charity!"

The 1st and 2nd persons for a while, couldn't understand what the 3rd person said..

"The 3rd one's way is the right way!"

Said the Head and continued..

"Taking care of self is a tricky thing in our life. You can't deny your self as your self is a fact. So taking care of one's self is the primary duty with a person; taking care of others stands next..

But that should never take one to total selfishness as self elevation too is the duty with human being. And that self elevates when one takes care of his next person in need..

This too is again tricky as allowing every one to take care of himself/herself too should prevail max.

So the decision where to help and where to allow one to help self always remains with the individual and one who does this diligently paying attention every moment has done,

His/her duty on earth in the right way; doubtless!

The 6 enemies of human being..

• "I don't listen to them at all either law bound issues or no law bound ones. I am all by myself. That's my strength!"

The 1st one shouted aloud..

• "I kept my own bench mark here. 99.9% don't listen to them on issues other than law bound ones and 100% on law bound issues. 0.1% is just an exception. It's nothing!"

The 2nd asserted..

• "0.25% and 99.75% is better option on issues not related to law and 100% to law related and I follow that. It's still 100% only as 0.25% is still small!"

The 3rd one clarified..

• "I allotted a bit more here. 0.5% listen and 99.5% don't listen!"

The 4th one revealed the plan..

• "My policy here is appear listen, don't listen, listen, don't listen, listen, don't listen and on and on.. Make that way 0% listening!"

The 5th one stressed the point..

• "I say, no listening at all and beyond question them for interfering with your life and show that you will not keep quiet if they interfere. That way I am more than 100% in not listening!"

The 6th one said with all firmness..

As the 6 decided thus on the plan of control of 6 next to them with

Desire and Illusion

Already working thru' their own plannings and assertions and

Anger, Greed, Pride and Jealousy

Waiting to attack,

Time stepped into future!

When the grown up person away to the center of city sends food in a carrier thru' someone with a message,

'You eat and return the carrier; I'll eat here!'

Creating a doubt in the wordings,

The person of high self interest thinks doubtless..

• "I'll eat this and return the carrier!"

The person of less self interest thinks with a doubt,

• "I'll eat half and return half to my friend to eat!"

The all lovable parent thinks again doubtless,

• "If I eat, the left out food is not be enough for my child. I'll return this as is!"

THERE IS ALWAYS A BETTER WAY!

One person argued vehemently to prove his point and soon was a winner. Another one with him kept silence all along. The first person asked the second one,

• "Why did you keep quiet when I had a valid point to stress upon?"

The man smiled and continued his silence. Time moved on..

There was another situation in which the first person tried covering up his deficiency. But he was pulled up and was straight away questioned on that. He could not answer there and kept silence. 

The other person instantly moved near to the people, argued and soon others became silent. The first person got wondered with the action of the second and queried him,

• "I thought you would keep quiet as I was wrong in that context because when I was right only you kept quiet. But now, you argued on my behalf.. Why?"

• "I never argued stressing that you are right. I only questioned them..

'Can't we be sympathetic to an erred human being?'

• And could convince them on that ultimately!"

Said the second one with a smile!

EQUAL BLESSINGS!

Two friends decided to make a visit to the famous Temple on an Auspicious Day.

One of them had a health problem..

It was 2 hrs journey and on the day both travelled to the spot and arrived there.

As both looked at the Temple entrance, a long queue of Devotees was seen..

The friend with the health problem said to the other,

"Dear! It's very difficult for me to stand in long queue.  I wait outside. You go ahead!"

The other moved ahead and stood in the queue..

The friend who stayed out, saw in distance an old infirm person collecting scrap on the road.  After sometime he sat to the side of the road and was looking around..

The friend got up, went near him and asked,

"Are you hungry?"

The old infirm person nodded his head in affirmation..

Instantly, the friend purchased some food from the nearby tea stall and gave him. The old person took the food, ate it and moved ahead..

The friend who went inside the Temple returned after 2 hrs offering his Prayers to God. Soon both moved homewards..

There was a Message from Skies..

'Here go Blessings to both.. One taking in pains to see Me at My Place; the other taking out pains (of hunger) to help Me in My Work!'

krodhad bhavati sammohah sammohat smrti vibhramah
smrti bhramsad buddhi naso buddhi nasat pranasyati!'

'By brooding over sense objects, attachment develops, from attachment, desire and from desire, anger comes up,

From anger delusion occurs, from delusion bewilderment of memory takes place, from that discrimination capacity goes and losing discrimination, human being is gone!'

You are ever tied up with these endlessly. If you really care for your freedom,

THE A,B,Cs OF WORK!

It was the DAY OF FAREWELL to the gentleman retiring being almost a 90% matured person both at work and in life..

When many of the top Bosses started pouring in the usual speeches of his capabilities, achievements etc etc equally at the back of certain discrete criticism, the elderly gentleman politely and softly set all that praise to a side and said with a smile,

“At work, I followed a SINGLE KNOWN PATH to me till date which I believed as the RIGHT WAY and all these years whenever and wherever I was asked to do a particular job as much I used to put a question to myself Viz.;

'Why not 

Show a little extra of my Attention,

Bring out a little extra of my Best and

Use a little extra of my Capabilities here than the exact

And finish the job given me?'

That alone helped me...." 

His voice got chocked suddenly with an untold emotion from within but the gentleman was instantly backed by a thunderous clapping by one and all who assembled there in hundreds to SEE OFF their 'BELOVED BOSS’ in whom all of them could see a 'REAL FRIEND' too all along their association with him!

"Dear! You don't know my powers when I sit in this chair. Not your GM, your CMD will be in my office, if I make a single phone call. Please provide what is asked for else,

I KNOW WHAT I DO!"

At 1 PM in an outgoing call..

"Hello! Yeh.. It's me.. Mr.... What about my pending payment? When will it happen? See my dear.. I tell you, if I don't get my money by.... 

I KNOW WHAT I DO!"

At 5 PM outside..

"Don't take me for granted, dear.. If I take this seriously,....  Leave it.. If it is repeated.. 

I KNOW WHAT I DO!"

At 10 PM before going to bed..

"Lord! You are all Powerful and Merciful and I am nothing in front of Your Presence around. Show Compassion on me and Bless me..

I BOW DOWN TO YOU!"

There was a Message from Skies..

"Prayer to Me is ever complete only when one instead of praising Me beyond, remain kind to the erred human beings next as they too are part of My Creation!"
