WEALTH MANAGEMENT.. WHAT'S IT LIKE ULTIMATELY?

Two youngsters approached separately on 2 occasions an elderly gentleman of wisdom for his advice on improving their finances..

The elderly said to the 1st youngster,

“2 young men started their Careers approximately at the same time in their life..

One invested taking reasonable risk,
  • Earned wholesome,
  • Travelled widely,
  • Spent generously and
  • Settled in life with a feeling of well spent life!
The other invested taking zero risk,
  • Earned limited,
  • Travelled limited,
  • Spent limited and
  • Settled in life with a feeling of no achievement!”
When the other young man visited him, he said,

“2 young men started their Careers approximately at the same time in their life..

One invested taking less risk,
  • Earned handsome,
  • Travelled happily,
  • Spent judiciously and
  • Settled in life with a well-being feeling!
The other invested taking too much risk,
  • Earned easy monies,
  • Travelled endlessly,
  • Spent recklessly and
  • Settled in life with a lost feeling!”
A young man who happened to hear to the 2 advices asked the elderly,

“Sir! How is that you gave 2 contradictory advices to them?”

The elderly remarked,

"There is a drive in every individual and it's ever wisdom to give an advice in a way that he/she
  • Checks own drive,
  • Streamlines it without being propelled beyond and
  • Live his/her life accordingly..
My advices given are not contradictory, I just twisted the saying of the same story to suit the innate drives in the boys..

The 1st youngster having zero risk appetite and the 2nd one, high risk appetite!"
While leaving the elderly smiled and said,

"Ultimately none knows what happens with all our well laid plans!"

    1. Yes, you said it right.. Risk taking is an inherent drive with a personality and forever it should not be questioned but should only broadly guided for betterment.. Thanks for the Comment!

    1. You are very much right Mridula.. And that inherent urge to excel is sure the God's Gift with every one and there is again a purpose behind its existence.. My responsibility forever there lies in guiding the person with support of my own experiences if any in that field.. Thanks for the Right Comment on these Pages!
