"Oh.. Dear! You are telling your story? Sure.. Go ahead.. I'm all ears!"
"Having lost twice, the rabbit was unhappy and some how decided to win the turtle. It had one boon and as per that it can travel max distance on earth once..
So, it slowly coaxed the turtle for race once again. The turtle never understood that but decided to participate. It was knowing that the rabbit has a boon and it will use that..
So it agreed but put its own conditions for that..
1) The race will be held in the mid of Sahara desert near one Oasis..
2) The race distance will be 36,768 km..
3) The race direction will be at 23.5 deg to East..
The rabbit jumped and instantly agreed for the race without thinking..
The race started and in no time the rabbit ran in 23.5 deg to East direction and disappeared. The turtle relaxed near Oasis wetting itself on and off!"
"So, the turtle left the race?"
"No.. It participated and won!"
"How, dear? I don't get it!"
"Think!"
"Ok.. Getting it.. No.. you tell!"
"Lost? OK, listen..
The circumference of earth at the latitude, Tropic of Cancer is 36,768 km and that passes thru' mid of Sahara desert. The earth's tilt is 23.5 deg and if you go from there at this angle to east, you will be covering 36,768 km round the earth..
So when the rabbit was about to reach the destination, the turtle was already there cooling itself at the Oasis. Don't ask me how they both went to Sahara and how they survived!"
"Oh! Such a nice story.. How you got all these details?"
"Story is mine.. Details.. I googled and found out..
Actually, we have to take the circumference of earth at the Oasis nearest to Tropic of Cancer if one is not on Tropic of Cancer. Those details I don't know!"
