'I AM SPIRITUAL!' SORRY, WHAT DID I SAY?

"Let me stretch less, consume more and listen to mind max!"

One person said and I marked the person as fully worldly with zero spiritual interest..

"Let me stretch the required, consume the required and listen to what the mind says!"

Another said and I marked the person as just worldly with a look at Spirituality..

"Let me stretch more than required, consume less than required and listen less to the mind!"

The 3rd one said and I marked the person as less worldly with rising Spiritual interest..

"Let me stretch a lot, consume frugal and listen minimum to the mind!"

The 4th one said and I was about to mark the person as having much much less worldly interest and Spiraling Spiritual interest, the wise person stopped me saying,

"Mark the person as more worldly!"

"Why?"

I asked..

The wise person said,

"The Great Saint while in the Sacred Task of 'Realizing the Self' found that starving the body through severe Penance is not the way, He stopped His Meditation, accepted some milk and food and restored His energies!"

"You mean to say none with zero worldly interest and only Spiritual interest exists?"

I queried eagerly. The wise person disappeared from my sight and right at that moment,

Was heard on distant loud speakers melodiously recited conveying the Message of Lord Krishna to Prince Arjuna..

'Yatato hy api kaunteya purusasya vipascitah
indriyani pramathini haranti prasabham manah'

'O Arjuna! The turbulent senses forcibly lead astray even the mind of vigilant and sound person!'
