FROM 'INSTANT PRAYER' TO 'BIG SHOUTING!'


The aircraft started descending with 'Fasten Seat Belt' sign on followed by the landing preparations by the crew members. As the airplane entered a cluster of thick clouds during the decent, a jolt of not a lesser intensity shook the plane all of a sudden making the rear seated passengers shaken up a bit..

It was few minutes of tension and confusion as the morbid fear took over the 3 friends seated in the rear..
  • "Lord! You are the Supreme and all Powerful and you alone move the world. Am nothing but a speck in your Creation. Please save me!" 
Were the words of

Instant Prayer

Of one in his heart..
  • "This life is truly meaningless. There's no point in hankering after all the things around me which can become nothing the next moment!" 
Were the words of

Instant Philosophy

From the 2nd one..
  • “Somewhere, something is really over looked and the rules and procedures are bypassed. Else why will this happen?” 
Were the words of

Instant Anguish

From the 3rd one!

Soon the aircraft landed and in a short time, the 3 friends out of the airport and moved to a nearby restaurant for coffee with.. 

The silence between them continued..

Some time passed..

"What would have actually happened to the flight?"

Asked the 1st one 

Softly opening up the conversation..

"Whatever, we are out now here safe.. Forget about what had happened!"

Said the 2nd one 

Cheering up others.. 

"It appears, there's nothing wrong and a few times it happens like that.. We should take it light and be back to our works!"

Said the 3rd one 

Boosting the confidence of his friends by own explanation..
  • “Okay, friends.. Listen.. Finally, we're out of our long pending litigation!” 
Said the 1st friend soon after a brief phone call

With a beaming face.. 
  • “Is it? Then we'll have more money in our accounts and can expand our Business., Good news!'” 
Reacted the 2nd one 

With a brightened face..
  • “Ahh.. At one stroke am relieved of all my financial tensions.. Great!”
Followed the 3rd one's comment

With a big shouting!

    So Apt and ironical .... the moment we are saved its all ME, My efforts , MY idea.... no pity for those who suffered...

    First one a believer, the second a philospher and the third a pragmatist. I liked the way how three of them forgot their core beliefs when them had met with a safety and success. As if money is what eventually becomes the core belief.

      Very right quest question on the topic of discussion, Jyotirmoy.. To tell the Truth in simple terms ultimately, I don't control anything in the world but the actions to be done by me in this world as per my duty have to be necessarily done for my well being and for my day to day decent living.. Being aware of these 2 facts in life deep in my heart and further getting into my works, forever retains the peace in my life.. Thanks for the interest shown in the subject.. Wishes!
