THE POWER OF
HONEST WORK, DEVOTION AND PRAYER!

*** When Sage Durvasa cursed Jaya and Vijaya, the gate keepers of Vaikuntam while doing their honest work of stopping Him entering the Shrine, Lord Vishnu gave them 2 options..

Either take 11 births as His devotees or 3 births as His haters and invariably, Jaya and Vijaya chose the shorter period to be back to their Lord the earliest!

The story ever affirms that in life, professional hazards are a fact and my honest work alone comes up there as savior!

In that context alone, Lord Krishna thru' Verse 47, Chapter II of Srimad Bhagavad Gita Says..

'karmany evadhikaras te
ma phalesu kadacana
ma karma phala hetur bhur
ma te sango stv akarmani'

'You certainly have right for prescribed activities but never at anytime in their results. You should never be motivated by the results of the actions, nor should there be any attachment to doing your prescribed activities!'

*** When Sage Durvasa released the demon to attack king Ambarish for partaking a little of the offering made to Lord to end his fast, instantly, the Mighty Sudarshan Chakra followed the Sage and

Ultimately when the Sage asked pardon of the ardent devotee king alone, the Mighty Weapon retreated from It's ferocity and returned to the Lord..

The story ever affirms that in life, even if I'm highly disciplined and rule bound too, I can be subjected to test of time and my devotion to Lord alone comes up there as true savior..

In that context alone, Lord Krishna thru' Verse 26, Chapter IX of Srimad Bhagavad Gita Says..

Patram Puspam phalam toyam
yo me bhktya prayacchati
tad aham bhakty upahrtam
asnami prayatatmanah

'If one Offers Me with love and devotion (dedication) a leaf, a flower, a fruit or (even) water, I will (just) accept it (and Bless my devotee)!'

*** When the mighty elephant king Gajendra relaxing in his favorite waters was suddenly caught by a huge crocodile, his power, strength and stamina instantly found to be nothing in the situation.. Not losing heart, as he Prayed to Lord Vishnu in total surrender,

Next moment, the Lord reached the spot and relieved the elephant king from the clutches of the ferocious crocodile..

The story ever affirms the fact that in life, when destiny strikes, I may be nothing in front of that and my prayer to Lord alone comes up there as true savior..

In that context alone, Lord Krishna thru' Verse 66, Chapter XVIII of Srimad Bhagavad Gita Says..

'Sarva dharman parityajya
mam ekam saranam vraja
aham tvam sarvapapebhyo
moksayisyami ma sucah.'

'Relinquishing all ideas of righteousness (the right and wrong as known to you), surrender unto me exclusively; I will deliver you from all sinful reactions (what your mind proposes), do not despair.'

Thus our Great Epic Stories constantly depict the power of Honest Work, Devotion and Prayer in our life to address all critical problems that come up!
