The Believer and the Non-Believer were walking together..
From a house, they heard the Conch Blowing aloud..
The Believer instantly kept his hands together and prayed within..
They further walked..
From another house, the Ringing Bell sound was heard along with the Aarti Offer..
The Believer instantly kept his hands together and Prayed within again..
They further walked..
From one more house a Chanting Hymn was heard..
The Believer instantly kept his hands together and prayed within once again..
The Non-Believer smilingly asked,
"Sir! I see you offering Prayers 3 times during our walk. What happens if you don't do that and wholly concentrate on the surroundings next to us?"
"Agreed, dear.. You are seeing the surroundings around you to the minutest detail. I am seeing within me too along with the outside observation if not wholly!"
"What's there to see within?"
"What's there to see outside?"
"We are living in our surroundings. It's our duty to be part of the surroundings for our safe existence!"
"We are living with ourselves too. It's our duty to be part of those surroundings too for our safe existence!"
"You mean, a Prayer takes care of that?"
"May be in a Believer's language it is Prayer and in a Non-Believer's language it is the Science of Existence..
Ultimately, the Truth with me as well as the Truth with you say..
'Take care of your whole existence and be at peace!'
As we both know well that..
'Between a cup and lip there are many slips!'"

ReplyDeleteRightly said, Tomichan Mathekal.. As the truth known to me at this point of time doubtless is relative truth alone, physical existence becomes the most important element of my life. In that context a look at the basic requirement of body well being becomes part of my duty. That way seen both outside and inside worlds with me become important. Yes.. As one starts giving lesser and lesser importance to trivial things of life which many times look alluring and overpowering, a higher level of truth prevails with the personality along with a well established peace. Thanks for the good and valuable comment on the Post!
