The word,
'CHALLENGE'
Is never free from the other 2 words associated with it Viz.,
OPPORTUNITY and
CRISIS
And if we look at Nature, there is only one aspect in place of the above 3 Viz.,
FEARLESS LIVING..

Seen in that perspective, basically, every human being irrespective of his/her
TIME,
PLACE and
GROUP
Has to ultimately live a
FEARLESS LIFE
As much.. 

Here in, each one sees, each situation in front as either
OPPORTUNITY,
CHALLENGE or
CRISIS
According to the gradation of his/her
UNDERSTANDING THE TRUTH..

A small story in this context goes thus..

A Saint with disciples was going in a forest explaining the basic aspects Spiritual Life. The disciples felt that that was a great
OPPORTUNITY
For them, to associate with the Great Man in the journey. They travelled thru' the jungle facing certain never
EARLIER FACED HARDSHIPS
In respect of 

Physical strain, 

Hunger and 

Thirst..

But all, at that point of time felt that it was a
CHALLENGE
With them to rise in the direction of Spirituality..

By evening, they came across a Tribal Chief who invited them to his Hamlet, offered mouth watering dishes/ unlimited wine simultaneously providing lots of entertainment and resting for the night..

The Master ate a small portion of the food, drank a small quantity of the wine, witnessed the entertainment for a short period and soon retired to bed. The disciples too involved therein but few crossed the limits, involved in a way beyond with the
CHALLENGE
Therein being seen difficult to meet as it turned into a
CRISIS LIKE SITUATION
For them to contain themselves at that point of time and they decided to discontinue the Spiritual Life practices and return home..

In the early morning hrs, the Saint 

Blessed the Chief, 

Took leave and 

Continued His journey along with the remaining disciples the
CHALLENGE
With them continuing..

That evening they were corned by another Tribal Chief who happened to be a cruel man. The Chief ordered his men to 

Take the Saint and the disciples to a remote area,
Beat them black and blue by tying up and
Leave them hungry throughout the night by
Offering a single bitter drink as the night food..

In the process, a few of the disciples somehow freed themselves, escaped in the darkness and soon were back to their homes. Rest with great pain bore all that attack, never could take a sip of the bitter drink offered, starved all the night all along living with great fear with the
CHALLENGE
Turning into a
CRISIS,
For all, of course each seeing the
INTENSITY OF CRISIS
Differently the
CHALLENGE
For them tapering off accordingly..

The Saint alone 

Bore the brutal attack patiently, 

Remained unfed all the night, 

Drank the bitter liquid blessing the Chief in the process and 

Remained thus till morning another Chief passing that way freed them and took care of them..

The Saint Proclaimed..

'Spiritual Life is not controlling and following the austerities but living totally a

FEARLESS LIFE!'

Seen thus from time immemorial, for each and every one life is filled with
OPPRTUNITIES
CHALLENGES and
CRISES

At various levels and that continues thus each doing his/her duties constantly rising in the direction of

TRUTH

Of

UNIVERSAL ONENESS
Wherein 

The Experiencer, 

The Experienced and 

The Experience

Ultimately merge!

(The modified story told by me here is based on an old story which I heard in my younger days with the of credit of that going to the Original Author)..
